I haven't watched anime in years, but this bike is cool IMO http://games.yahoo.com/blogs/unplugged/akira-superfan-builds-iconic-bike-charity-000959542.html

Bump. Anyone advise how they have their headset setup with the Scorpion 900?
-
I think with J&M headsets they are more or less universal. The difference is the lower cord. It looks like some are helmet specific or generic according to the type of helmet (full face, quarter or half). Could you send another email and just let them know what bike you have and that you have a full face helmet, modular, quarter, half, etc...(w/out letting them know the helmet model)?
-
Which J&M headset series did you go with? likes/dislikes? I emailed J&M because I like the installation they did in their picture. Very clean. For the price I might as well figure something else out like what you guys did (whatever that might be) or return the helmet to the dealer and buy the helmet and the headset preinstalled from J&M. For me to go w/ how they installed I would have to have the helmet shipped at my cost round trip. For the Elite series including their labor installation charge it would be $290. For the Performance series including their labor installation charge it would be $240. Either way that is more than what I paid for the helmet. On top of that I would still have to buy the lower cord seperately. I told them I already have a 1 piece cord and they said with it being custom installed the 1 piece won't work with it. That equals 1 expensive helmet.

Anyone else think this is funny?

I have a J&M headset for my 700 as it doesn't use a boom mic but no headset for the 900 I just bought today. What do you have for your EXO900?

Love it. Imagine seeing those birds by the hunderds at once back in WW2?

Florida Woman, 90, Behind the Same Wheel 559,000 Miles Later
Sideoftheroad replied to juggler's topic in Watering Hole
Some of the words are exactly the same from both stories. I seem to recall a similar story but the elderly lady was from Texas. Here's another post that now she is 2 yrs older than the other post and more descriptive as to where the parts came from http://www.examiner.com/classic-cars-in-dallas/1964-mercury-comet-approaching-600-000-miles-all-driven-by-92-year-old-grandmother Did a google search by the lady's name. Consistency is she is at least in her '90's and mileage is around 560-600k. -
After mom gave the green light to come it has been a long long day. I finally arrived in eugene. Unfortunately my brother passed away while I was in the air from Minneapolis to Portland. I hope he has made his peace with God and is with him now.

With everyone here in the Indiana/Ohio area I think there was some confusion as to what all was going on yesterday. He was in bad shape yesterday and certainly not out of the woods. Things that I was hearing last night was he went to bed. Woke up 30 minutes later and told his wife to call the ambulance because he was going to have a stroke (not sure if that is actually what happened or not or if that was just part of what happened). He was talking and coherent the next morning in the hospital so his wife went home to rest up. Sometime after that things went downhill. Guess they tried to wake him up but couldn't. Not entirely sure on this part but sounded like either his kidney and/or liver were shutting down. There was also something about having an infection and the doctors couldn't do any surgery until that went down to find out what is going on. Also heard about bleeding in the GI tract (didn't hear if it was upper or lower). Then later in the day started to hear that he was on dialysis, on a ventilator and his platelet count was down in the 30's. . Just got an update that his platelet count is up (don't know by how much), the yellowing in his eyes is almost gone (1st time I heard about this) and dialysis doctor said he looks better. Certainly good news that he's improving.

Wow. I really didn't know all those things went into it for smaller aircraft. Thanks for explaining it. Still no updates yet. Guess no news is good news. At least that is what I am telling myself.

I would just pick and go but I have too much respect for my parents. I asked my mom and she said stay put so that is what I am doing. I just got off the phone with my brother and he is doing the same. Dennis, Where are you seeing that info.? I might need it for future flights. No updates from the family yet.
-
I realize this is a huge thing to ask of anyone but I am going to make this to the point. I am in Indiana and my oldest brother is in Eugene Oregon. He is in ICU right now and have heard various things in regards to his condition including doctors aren't sure if he is going to make it. My parents have asked me to stay put as my parents, my brothers 2 daughters and their families have already gone out there and mom says too many people wouldn't be good for him. But if I get a call that says the entire family should be there I want to get there ASAP. If I can help it I don't want to deal with 30 layovers to get to him that commercial airlines from what i remember seem to make everyone do on long flights. Thanks. Jerry

I have an older emachines desktop that I really like too. Unfortunately it just doesn't keep up with today's demands. After I couldn't tell you of how many happy years with it I got a virus. i bought mine before they shipped recovery disks w/ the pc's. So I contacted them about getting one. To no avail they said there wasn't available. I tried to contact some people on ebay that were selling different model emachines to see if they would copy their recovery disk for me. Unfortunately no one responded. So I was left with buying a copy of xp home edition. I also ended up buying a new HD as well as the original one stopped working. It never worked the same after that. Around a year ago we bought an HP laptop and now very rarely get on the desktop. Some people will bash emachines to death because before Gateway bought them out their product was garbage. Mine was after Gateway bought emachine and all I can say it worked very well for many years.

Jeff, That's using the ole' noggin'. I won't turn this into a bashing thread as I just want to know about folks who do some of these puzzles online. Having said that I have had 2 Ford products in the past and after a year of electrical issues and repeated repairs I got rid of them and swore them off. I know anyone can say the same for just about any auto manufacturer or any product in general. Besides having to pay taxes if I win won't turn down a free car or at least cash equivalent if it is offered. Fiat isn't my 1st choice either (btw just saw a new commercial on YouTube with Charlie Sheen (love it)). Let's just say it might be a tight fit and not because I am tall which I am not :-). So saying I am a GM guy. Kinda have to be when your father in law retired from A/C Delco literally just before it became Delphi. This isn't to say I haven't bough GM without issues either. But they have been so insignificant to me they didn't bother me like radio not working when using rear defrost.

Jeff, All of them. :-) For the map, I knew the paper was coordinates but I figured I would see letters/numbers on the side like a map and you drew lines. I didn't figure out it was coordinates to move left, right, etc... For the garden, the leaves were easy. Those made the border and I knew the picture on the side of the card had to touch the same picture on another card. Just couldn't get it to get everything matched up like it was supposed to. For the dominoes, I had a basic understanding of what you were supposed to do but I think I was concentrating more on the written letters/numbers on the domino and matching that up to the number on the tray vs. the numbers in the tray was to be matched with the corresponding dominoe. i.e. 3 3 possibly meant use the domino with the 2-3's. I knew the pencil was the key but I kept looking at it and couldn't make heads/tails of it. On the film fiche I started by lining up # 5 but couldn't figure out what do to with it. I figured the other #'s would line up to something else also and they do just not in the way that I thought. I thought you lined up 1 # and the rest lined up. Hadn't a clue on the safe, dead letter, calendar or chalk board. Did you try the Fiat contest? SilvrT. Yes the new show. Tell him congrats. What episodes/scenes were he in?

For the Alcatraz contest I found another site that had pictures of the answers. There are some that I still look at and think how in the world did people figure that out. Others I have a better understanding of and found out I was at least on the right track to solve them. This hopefully will help me with the next contest round so I won't have to rely so much on outside sources. So I challenge others to try the www.fox.com/alcatraz win a mustang contest. You don't even have to sign up just to try the puzzles. Or try the Fiat USA Facebook contest.
