    Dealer was speculating the Venture will be phased out in the future for a more Road Glide look. Didn't someone on the board already go trunkless? I can buy flame decals for bikes lots of places and pay less. Just checked out HarleyDavidson.com. They have a CVO UltraClassic Electra Glide in Burnt Amber/Hot Citrus w/ Flames. I prefer my Venture, but would like to see it in person. I think they did a bang up job on the Copper/Black last year.

    Honestly wish more banks would give you a warning and ask you take action or else they will charge you. I believe just about any corporation does this. They may not necessarily hold the money for 30 days, but I believe they put it in the market to draw interest from the premiums you pay for things like mortgage, supplemental health insurance premium, or just about anything else you can think of. Heck the gov't does this too. If you get money back after submitting your tax return. You just gave them a 1 yr loan. They pay the loan off when they send you the money back, but they keep the interest. Now that's backwards. Wonder what they would do if you tried to bill them for that interest.

    Got hit a couple times w/ some overdraft fees recently and getting tired of it. I tried going through National City customer service and hasn't helped. Seems they are charging me for fees that they shouldn't be because there is money in the account. Seems after they hit me with the fees then I get overdrawn. And I am getting charged $34 a hit. Funny thing is another account of ours got hit once last year and it was $32. Everytime I ask them why the difference, they skirt around the issue. They won't give me a straight answer. Anything to make a buck I suppose. So looking for a new bank. What does your bank charge you (if anything)?

    Wonder if it could be something with the hands (arthritis?) You do alot w/ your hands after all in the body shop. The years might be catching up to ya.

    On my VTX, I had a Cobra Lightbar which was an H3 so I know what that is. tx2sturgis has shown me the light (pun intended). Yes 2 metal posts and also the filament in the middle is gone. KiteSquid where do you get a par36? Are all par36's of the same diameter as the lamp I have in there now? Cost typically? Anyone done any type of lightbar mods you can share? Can be anything.

    The lightbar was on the bike when I bought it, but when the glass lens cracks and lost a light, at least to me that indicates a sealed beam (If I understand sealed beams correctly, but might not).

    Might be time for a mod???? I was riding to work today and noticed in the reflection from the car in front of me one of the lightbar lights was out. Got to work and one of the light lens was cracked all the way across. Seal broken=no light. :-( Any suggestions on replacements?

    Others more experienced can chime in here. I haven't synched mine or have watched it done, but from reading several posts here about the subject, there isn't any set level (like all of them have to be 24). You just have to make sure that they are all equal across the board regardless of what the number is.

    Agreed, that Ponch did a great job. Just showing other options if they want to look for something that has a faceplate included so they don't have to make one.

    found these on summit racing. don't have to worry about a faceplate template, it is already there for you. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G2973-V/ Here's another one w/ a fuller faceplate http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-2349/ Heck if the faceplate is too big you are still getting 3 gauges for $20.00 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G2923-V/ I think you would just need to know total width to make sure it fits in the space. I am sure Summit Racing would provide the info.

    Can anything be put in between the brackets on each side? This is where it bolts onto the bike w/ the 2 bolts. We will only use the radio antenna side as an example. Using the 2 bolts, can another piece of metal be sandwiched between the bracket that attaches to the antenna and the side that attaches to the bike. What I am wondering is if the metal piece with either affect radio reception or the SWR on the cb. This would be a piece of metal on each side of the bike Hope this makes sense. If not let me know and I will put it together and post pics. Thanks

    Move your mouse over the picture, do a right click and click on properties. Looks like it is the streamliner motor all apart from the address description.

    If it was hacked, do you think the admins from the other forum blocked it, to get fixed what needs to be fixed?
