    Must be something going around I have a ghost I think that does stuff around here and mine got fell over sunday and I just painted it last month and wouldnt you know it would have to be in the white tri coat that got all messed up! Just like you I have to repaint stuff and I am gonna start that next week.

    I must be on a roll this week!! I woke up sunday to a flat on the car then later in the day was going to take my daughter for a ride on the bike so I have idoling as I move cars around and it decides to roll and fall over scratching my new pearl white paint job and braking the mounts on the lower cowling. So I have the broken parts fixed now and gonna fix the rest next week but I was ridding it today on the interstate and got to my moms and was looking in the trunk when I noticed one of the ants are gone just my luck!! Now to find one of those oh joy!!

    Glad to hear your dealer took care of you! I think you are wasting your time on the fairing after having mine apart I see why they break and it wont take long before the new is broke just like all the others out there are. There is a link here some were to show you how to reinforce it and it looks like it will work great I just havent had time to doo it to mine yet.

    I wish they would come out with a taller windshield so my better half wouldnt get beat as bad since she sits higher than me. I thought about maybe doing something to the seat but I dont want to mess that up and her have a uncomfortable ride that way. Anyone else have this problem?

    I took mine off of my 08 its not hard its just two sided tape on it, YOu can take a razor blad if you are careful and cut the tape without scratching the tank or cutting the bib or put some heat on it to help soften the glue but remember you have a fuel tank so dont use any open flame and make sure the cap is on. Then you can use some wax and grease remover to get the tape off of the tank with some elbow grease. Just takes some time good luck!

    You know you might just get your paint from a supplier you have up there with dupont or what ever and have a bodyshop there paint it for you in base coat clear coat. If you take it to a shop and they make there own paint it will probably be cheaper and you get a better product that will last longer than the color rite stuff. You will have alot less fade and a more durable product with a hardend base and clear. Just my thoughts since its what I do for a living painting cars but its your bike my freind good luck.

    You can take it to a dupont retailer or someone like finish master or a automotive color or check your phone book for a auto paint retailer they should have the camera and a few shops have them I know we have two of them.

    They do have them on ebay from time to time. I have the ones I took off of my 08 when I repainted it but havent made up my mind if I want to keep them or not but I will check around with a rew people and see if anyone has some for sale.

    Hey if you want to get rid of some of the pipes let me know I might take them off your hands. I have a set of RK pipes I just dont have the mounts or have had the time to drill the guts out of them yet.

    Thanks everyone shes getting there, the colors are a pearl white tri coat and a goldish orange trimed out with a charcoal and red and black stripe. I still have things to put back on her but I have been riding it and it still needs some buffing but it looks alot better than the boring mouse gray. I got about 500 dollars in materials but its a job tearing these apart and remembering how they go back. I have a friend that says he wont do another one for less than 5K now I know why.

    I just took my bike apart for a repaint and I marked the mounts what side I took them off of but I forgot to mark the ant, which one goes were? cb on the right or left? Thanks

    Hey thanks Bob! How did you do that? I have tried several time to down size them but I am a computer idiot and only know enough to get myself in trouble with these things.

    Oh its alot of work!! be prepaired I see why a friend of mine that did one told me he wouldnt touch one for under 5K. Good luck if you do its not super bad put if you dont do stuff like that alot you might get lost.. Its like working on a dam german car.

    I have tried and tried to down load some more pictures but it keeps saying the file failed how do I fix this to down load some pictures guys? Oh and I am a computer idiot so make it simple please.Thanks

    I got mine last year and so far its great the only problem is its still alittle short for her on the back as it beats her around with the air still and thats with the biggest one they have. I dont get any air with it at all and alittle with the vent open so I think I am going to cut the factory one down for when its just me ridding to get more air when its hot out.

    I am getting ready to put some driving lites on mine since its all apart but I am mounting them on the crash bars, does anyone know what size the bars are and what and were do I get the relay for these? Also does everyone wire theres with a switch or have them were they come on when you start the bike? thanks

    I just got some lizzrd lites for the bike and since I have her apart for the repaint I want to put them on as I am putting her together, anyone out there have them and if so were is the best place to put them to look rite? Thanks

    I got me some wizzard lightes for the bike but they didnt come with any directions on the best places to put, were is everyone putting theres at? I also got some driving lights that mount on the crash bar but they were out of the mounts for the crash bar at the show and they told me they are 25 from the dealer does any one know what I need to get here?? Thanks

    I cant figure out how to down load them and make them smaller yet to post any more pictures. I like bubbas bike but mine is newer and I didnt want all orange I have to be diffrent. I am sure someone will buy his bike soon its a great looking ride and he takes care of it.
