    I found a couple diffrent back supports on J&P and they have 3 diffrent sizes that range from just the lower to all the way up your back. Has anyone ever used these or know anything about them?

    I was going threw J&P cataloge lastnight and see they have back support devises that you can get does anyone here have them or know if they work or not?? they look like they might help but dont want to spent 75 bucks for something that doesnt work. Thanks everyone

    I hope that with the bike only having 4500 miles on her that all this or those are not lose yet but it probably wouldnt hurt to check them! Thanks Bubba!! I didnt know about them.

    carbs have been synced and it runs like a champ, the vibrations could be the tires or ? I can grab the crash bar on the rear while riding and it vibrates alot. Just thought I would see who else was having this and what they were doing.

    I have a 08 rsv and I dont know if its the vibrations or what but if I ride for more than a hour my lower to mid back gets sore, I have the utopia back rest and thats great but I can feel the vibrations.Dont know if changing tires would help or not?? anyone else have this and if so what do you do? thanks

    I have a 08 rsv and it has the dunlops on it, I have around 4500 miles in it and the only real bad thing I can say is they are growlers!! mine sound like my trk tires almost. The mech at the dealer did tell me that the bridgestones do not get very good milage for some reason and he recomends the dunlope E-3 or michelans and he sells alot of metzllers but from what I here they scare me.     does the router work for cable internet? I have a few wireless routers here but havent used them and at the moment all I have left is my regular computer with the tower and all? thanks

    no its not a wireless system, I do believe he has the modem number off of our modem here and he know how to to go to our computer. I am going to get a new modem and before I get a new laptop I want to make sure he cant get into it or this computer again. I keep gettting the same port number coming up that is trying to hack in. I think but cant prove he has messed up the last lap top and fried it but I cant prove it. So the next step is to just make it so he or anyone else cant get in so I am open to suggestions. Thanks

    I am not the best or know alot about all the stuff I should have for protection on the net. I have someone with the same port keep trying to hack my computer atleast 3 or more times a day and I want to make sure I can keep them from getting in and we also think we know who it is and they are trying to spy on us to see what we are doing or what ever. I have kaspersky and it shows me when they try and there port. I want and will take any help I can get and thank you very much for your help!!!

    Thats a great price! I do that for a living and he is charging you pretty close to cost or cheaper depending on what kind of paint and product he uses. If you use the pearl blacks it will give you a cast in it of what color pearl you want to use, if you look at the honda cars that are black the have a bluish cast and some cars have a redish cast and that is from the pearl. If you want a straight black then you dont want a pearl in it. Good luck and just take your time preping it and make sure everything is sanded good with no shiny spots. They are a pain in the a$$ so have fun.

    I rode it to the dealer today and he checked it out and said its the tires the preasure is or was alittle low in them as they only had around 30 in them and he said they will do better and last lnger with 40 in them. They are cupped alittle on the outer edge. He told me he checks his every week, I didnt know you had to check them that much I guess I am to used to the car just get in it and go. He did say that dunlop has the new elites and they are supposed to be alot better than the others but hasnt put any on yet to know how anyone likes them. He said he sells alot of the dunlops and metzlers and havent had any problems so far with them but the bridgestones will only last around 5K miles. Just wanted to let you all know thanks again!!

    It was nice when I came home today alittle chilly but I dont let that bother me to much, any way I took the bike and decided to track this noise. I noticed that as I would lean from side to side and it hit the tread on the sides more the noise was louder and I do think the side treads are cupped alittle but not sure if its that or the way the tread is made as its not really bad.and after riding for a few min I did notice that it does sound alot like the tires and I would say I am 90% sure that is what I am hearing. Now I just have to figure out what I want to do with it or about it, I dont have the extra money to change them out at the moment and I dont think it will do anything other than make noise rite? Thanks

    I havent got to ride a stratoliner yet but would love to some time, so I can only tell you that after going from my honda sabre 1100 I wouldnt go back if I had to only have one bike. The comfort and features on the venture are much better than most of the other bikes I tried, I didnt try the ultra or the goldwing but did ride alot of others before making mychoice. I couldnt buy a used bike with all the stuff and comfort for what I paid for the 08 venture I got last year. The only thing you will have to get used to is it being top heavy but after awhile you dont notice it. Good luck!

    Hey as long as there isnt snow or ice on the road you can take it out and ride it, I try to get mine out as much as I can. I took it to work 2 days last week and it was 29 on morning I left for work just dress for it and make sure you have some good gloves or heated gloves.

    I read some were that Harley was giving loans for 19.99% on all there stuff? I wouldnt want to make those payments on a new ultra classic for 30K!!!

    I got yamaha credit on mine last year when I got mine and my credit score wasnt 790, I wish it was but just getting a divorce and her messing it up til it was final I still was able to get it for 6.9 for 72 months. But that was middle of last year and alot of things have changed in the economy I guess.

    Glad you put in the Kil I was starting to think you were doing 140 mph and the limit was 100? I was woundering were that was I was going to have to make a road trip!!!! I completely understand on getting into a zone its easy to do!! You could try to plead insanity?? Just a thought. Good luck

    How is that I keep getting told I am going slower than the speedo says? I am still getting a radar detector for it just to be safe.

    I called the dealer today and told them when its nice enough to ride it over I will drop it off to them. I told them what it was doing and he said it could be the tires but he has seen some that the rear end is out of alignment and making it howl like that, but they would be happy to make sure it is alrite and take care of it for me. I will say that everytime I have had a problem they have tried to take care of it and tell my why it is doing what it is.

    I am not saying its not the tires because it does kinda sound like them but I havent heard of any just doing it all at once like this did. I have to remember to call the dealer and have them look at it to make sure for my piece of mind I guess

    I cant say that I heard it or not in a corner or a lean as when I first heard it it was mostly starights and stop and turns til home. But what ever it is I hope wrty takes care of it for me.

    I bought my 08 cheaper than I could get a carry over 07 and a 06 I found, plus I looked at alot of used stuff and for only a 2 or 3k diffrence and them being 3 to 5yrs older I didnt see any advantage, now that being said the market has changed and its a buyers market more now and better deals on the used stuff.

    It makes the noise in 4th or 5th and if I pull the clutch in. I looked at the tires over the weekend and they look new still have great tread on them and all. It just seems funny that I didnt hear it this morning and then I hear on the way back. I hope its not the tires as I would like to get some money out of them as far as milage goes. I am going to check the fluid in the rear end after work wed if I have time and see what it looks like. I had all the fluids changed after the break in and just changed the oil over last weekend. thanks
