    I just a thing in the mail for me to go to direct buy for a open house. I dont know a soul who has ever been there or knows anything about it but they do say they can save you a bunch of money but I tend not to believe til its proven to me. ANyone out ther know anything about these?

    I am 6ft2in and I run around 2 to 4 in front with 2 up and 0 alone, I run around 25 to 29 in the rear as I like it alittle softer alone and around 35 with 2 up. The tires I run 40 front and back with the dunlop 404s and that is what my dealer told me to keep in them so they dont wear funny. I did let the tire preasure drop and the rear cupped alittle and is noisey as all get out now. Enjoy the bike and becareful!

    I have some HD boots with the zipper on the inside, I like the zipper on the inside but the boots are very heavy and when its real hot out my feet get to hot. I would love to find some boots that you get alot of air in them but have a hard soul that doesnt wear real fast on the bike.

    I sent mine off sat, both the front and back so we both ride in more comfort!! UPS are proud of the shipping charges!! WOW. I cant wait to get it back and ride it with the new seat!! I will report how it is then and from what I have seen it will be great!

    Ok the bike looks great but I want to know how much time does it take to take the bike apart? I was going to do it to mine last winter but couldnt make up my mind on what I wanted to do so I didnt want to have it sitting apart then when it was nice I am freaking out to get it done. I am going to tear her down this winter since I think I know what I want to do. Thanks and hope you enjoy your new bike!!

    If I remember rite I think it will eat your abs plastic and make it very soft. You have to be very careful with abs with alot of stuff like that as it will make it soft or eat it and it looks like glue and its not pretty!! There are alot of car parts that are made of this and I have tobe careful what I use on them at work. I do think I am going to go over the bike this weekend and tighten her up!!

    I rode the bike to work monday and opened the side bag and the lid just about fell off and the bolts were in the bottom of the bag!! I was not happy but at least the lid didnt fall off or get scratched up. I guess I am going to have to go around the bike and check stuff!! I wouldnt think I would have to mess with it for awhile since its a 08 with only 4600 miles on her but I guess I was wrong. Just thought I would send this out to anyone who thinks the same thing with theres before they lose something.

    I have never seen the stuff made or even tried the real stuff that I know of, other than the stuff from a bottle at the store. of course now pancakes sound good!!

    I have been reading here that when some replace there 404s they dont get the milage out of them does anyone know why? I stopped in at the local dealer and they make a few radial tire in the size for the venture does anyone ride with them? I would think they would last longer and ride better but I am not a tire expert???

    I would like some of the stuff the gold wing has like heated seats and grips, gps, a heads up display would be great!! ( I dont think the gold wing has that). A built is stealth so radar wont see you would help out alot!!! and make sure there are alot of after market stuff like for the HDs and gold wings!! Maybe some cool clothes like they have also!! Oh and one other thing a alternator would be great also so we could add what ever we want and not over load the stator! Is that to much?

    First question, are the stripes tape on or painted? if they are taped you are better off not to clear over them as over time they shrink alittle and when they do that they will make the clear peel off. next were is the scratch? and is it in a spot were you can blend the clear? Yes you can blend most clears I do it everyday as on some cars when painting a quarter panel or something you have to because the ins co will not pay you to paint the roof and go over to other quarter. What kind of clear are you useing? If its a good quality clear that is catilized you can or should be able to blend it and buff it in but if you havent done it its not something most just can do off the bat so you will get a nicer job clearing the whole bag. With the stuff I use (dupont) I sand the are I am clearing with 1000 grit sand paper as you dont want anything shiny so the paint will stick then make sure you use a wax and grease remover to clean it good so you dont get fish eyes and the paint sticks. Read the directions on what ever you are using and follow them and just take your time. Feel free to pm me or put a post on here if you have a question and I will help all I can. Good luck!!

    I want it more for the local highways than the interstates as I have a problem with the 45 mph to 55, I guess its a good thing I dont ride the ninjas or a new Vmax even though I would love to do light speed with that puppy!!!

    what kind of detectors are you guys out there using and how do you like them? I have been thinking about the batt powered passport to put on the bike so I can stick it in my pocket and no crods to mess with.

    this may be a stupid question but do these nat park passes work at any and all parks and forest? I have never heard of these before.

    I have to slam the brakes a few times in town when the car in front just decides to stop and it was a good thing i hit the rear and she did slide to the right it saved me from hitting them.

    I dont have a tack on mine yet but sometime down the road I will get one. I did have the carbs done last fall and rode it about 1k miles maybe since then but thats gonna change as its above freezing here so I can ride. Yes so far I am going to Dons unless something unforseen happens. I plan on trying to learn alot from you guys even if mine doesnt need anything.

    I cant find much info on the diffrences between the 2720 and the 2820 other than I think from what I have read is the 2820 is blue tooth and maybe the other isnt?

    I have the utopia back rest but I get enough vibration that it starts to hurt after about a hour or so, its not a hard vibration just enough to make it sore. I need to do some more adjusting I think but I might get a belt also at some point. Thanks

    I am looking at the street pilot 2720 and the 2820, who has these and how are they? I have found them alot cheaper than the zumas and if they do the same job and alot cheaper? Thanks for any imput.

    its something like a kidney belt but it can be as small as that to one the size that goes all the way up your back. I have a friend that has some kind of back support that he uses that takes some of the wieght off of you back bones and distributes it out more but I havent been able to get ahold of him. Just trying to figure out how to stop the aches.
