Went out and bought me some of that techron and waiting for spring to add it. I already have the tanks topped off and Seafoam added for the winter storage.
My only suggestion is like others have a 4 for V4 and remove the Royale for those that don't have that model other that that I like it and want one when its ready.
What year and color do you need? I have an 85 brown and gold. Will you be repainting or are you looking for a matching fender. Mine has border striping that's a little tattered. let me know.
Makes me want to go out and start to pound out the dents in the original fender and hood on my mustangs to finish the body work damaged by the barn collapse.
Wow that is incredible!
Good pictures are a good point. Especially for customers that live too far to come personally and see an object. I try to take good shots AND close ups of any defects or scratches so that no one is wasting their time or money on something that is not up to their quality.
I use Tech foan mystery lube blinker oil in my bikes!
Wow! this is a good thread. seeing as all my vehicles are old, 84 Honda Sabre v65, 84 Ford Mustang GT Turbo and 86 Yamaha Venture Royale anything that keeps them running "younger" is food to me going to buy some and try it this season. The Mustang sits alot and seems to have a sticky valve, and the Yamaha needed a couple of tank fulls of sea foam to really get it running right last year. But now it runs like a champ. But this Techron stuff sounds good and i'm going to try it.
Glad to hear things are a little better. Remember you have friends and family here let us know what we can do to help . Any time!!! Now get better and back on that bike!!!
Yes welcome. Hmmm a couple of daisy rifles? Hey if you're a good wrench then you might have some fun. I'll bet that 2nd gear will probably be gone on that bike, 83 to early 85's had that problem but the bike is powerful enough that it won't really be a problem.
Besides bad rubber gummed up carbs especially in the heat of Texas could also be a problem. Yamaha's are especially sensitive to this if not properly stored. Seafoam will help alot.
Remember if the bike is too much work you can sell her for parts , plenty here will help with work or buy stuff. and you just might even find one in better shape here. But spend the 412 bucks for member ship because the wealth of info and help here is priceless. and there are a lot of great members in your state that will be glad to help.
well that was certainly a unique response. Illegal but unique. ans as said , lets hope it didn't escalate. Sadly why people won't let you merge into traffic as you are coming onto a road still fascinates me. They never think to look or apply theirs brakes as you are coming on.
As a motorcyclist I always am more careful about that then or cagers might be. I look and accelerate as I enter a highway to get a head of any idiots like that.
Wow thats incredible. keep up the good work.
When I was a kid I weighed 245lbs. had a 44in. waist, High cholesterol( hereditary in my family) dad had a stroke at my age now. Lost the weight started excercise and have avoided a lot of the problems of a lot of my friends. Good luck and keep it up!
actually you can break them from under uses. IF YOU LET THE BARREL FREZE WITHOUT THE BLADES MOVING REGULARLY IT CAN BREAK THE BARRELL MUXER AND OR BURN OUT THE MOTOR. ITS A BALANCING ACT BETWEEN BEING COLD ENOUGH AND WHIPPED ENOUG WITHOUT FREEZING TOO HARD. I USDED TO WORK IN MY DADS CARVEL STORE WHEN I WAS A KID.
Wow Brian, so sorry to hear this. good luck with the hip. as big an operation as it is , its pretty routine. the ex just had her second. Gee i guess you need one of those 2nd gens the old men ride now, He He:witch_brew: Get well soon and don't be STRANGER ONCE A VENTURE RIDER ALWAYS A VENTURE RIDER.
