Heres a question in search of an answer. We all know that after 50k mile or so the washier that help hold seciond gear wears then. to fix it the enhgine must be pulled and the tranny opened . First question . Does the tranny open from the bottom without having to tear the whole engine open? Second question has anyone ever adapted a car body rotiserre to flip a venture over and repair the tranny without having to remove the engine? W#ould this be a viable way to get to the tranny with having to tear te engine out? If anyones thought about or tried this I'd love to know. Or is it even possible? Thanks Theres a free PB&J sandwich in it for anyone with a good answer. Phil.

Smaller Front tire Observations.
PBJ replied to SaltyDawg's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I agree with Squidley, its the comprimise you make with the thinner tire that profile helps the bike fall into the turn faster making it seem lighter. Yet because the tire patch is smaller there's less grip on the road so the bikes affected by wind and water. Personally I'd stay with the larger tire and just work out more to handle it in the turns. -

But th epowers that be brought you rhome to visit with your friend after her loss and to speak to your father even if he couldn't respond. Lets hope the flu will be the worst of your problrems for this year. drive safe out there. Hope you and Al have a better year from here on out..

Yeah it did look a bit staged but then again there where some pretty steep switch backs and you can't take those too fast, The bike looked like a Honda 919.but it was fun to watch and looked like fun too. I'd give it a try.

So sorry Shep Hope the wifes finger is okay. Check your insurance because there should be a towing or hauling provision tp get the bike home. Most flat beads can get it home. or rent a truck yourself and strap it in the back. A small moving truck has a ramp and can strap a bike into it with tie downs. Good luck in getting it home.
