  1. Can we at least imagine the girls are wearing Bikini's ? No wait even better i'm going to print out the calendar pictures and tape them to my compter screen so i'll have a "face' to go with every name. Woohoo!
  2. I'll try to get Joanna to tell you about the show they did where she works. Willard is now a drug re hab boot camp but from 1870 until the 1960 it was one of the biggest mental health facilities in New York. I use the term loosely. Guards reported starting to hear voices and seeing people in a new basement quarters they were building. The show that filmed there says they contacted a the ghost of a woman who had been a nurse there. She told them she was there to protect the ones that could not leave. It seems the the grounds of the facility has a large unmarked cemetary. tjhere are no head stones. It's where are buried the remains of hundreds of people whose families left them there and never returned. When they died there was no family member to grieve their passing and most died alone. The shows members said they felt the presence of many ghost there. I wonder if like the one you're talking about Mamamo?
  3. Man Todd good eye. What a catch! What i wouldn't give to just find a 1st Gen sitting around like that. It makes me wonder though why anyone would just abandon a good bike like that? Even if second gear was gone it was still ridable? Well you lucky devil good luck getting the title. Even with out it you've got a great parts bike there . It would be a shame to dismantle it though but the fleet of bikes out here are getting older and parts are getting more scarce.

    It's here!!!

Nice scoot Ole! Enjoy the ride.
  13. What type of riding have you usually done. If your coming off a Harley then the asssumption isthat much of your writing is touring and cruising. That would make the second gen the your prime choice. If you did any sport or sport touring earlier then the 1st Gen will be more to your liking. It is more a touring sport bike in the line of BMW's where as Yamaha definitely pursued the harley form with the 2nd gen,. with more power and lower cost. My choice was always the 1st gen, for the above stated reasons. Also I too like the foot position undernreath me. good luck with your hunting.

  21. eeewwwwwwwwww!!
  22. We had a propane furnance for years but it usually only ran as back up to our Vermaont casting air tight wood stove. Our old farm house was 2100 sq ft. when we were done with it. Local pallet copmany sold wood for $200 for nine face that got us through 3/4 a season . Tw loads made it the whole season with wood left over to start the next year nice and seasoned. 100 gallon tank of propane lasted 2 months. Just an option but one that saved us thoudsands of dollars over the 25 years we lived there.
  23. too bad no ones ever figured out how a company can get smaller while the brass at the top are making so much money. In other word howe to keep managements pay aat a level that when times get bad it can be reduced with out causing those managers major financial stress?
  24. Well bil;l welcome "back' to retirement. personally I don't know why you left. What could be more fun than sitting in front of the computer all day in your pajanma's answering threads on motorcycle forum. Oh.oh the working girl will be home soon i better go get dressed and practice my I've been busy speech. welcome back LOL!
  25. gary may I ask why you removed them and went back to the pegs. I remember there was a thread before about boards and pegs and I was wondering how good or bad boards were. Personally i feel pegs are a little sportier and i like the Sporty element of my 85. But I'd be interested in your opinion .
