Congrats On the new scoot. A first and second gen. is a good way to stay out of those nasty 1st-2nd gen. debates. Great pics too . And i love your signature line. I've got a daughter too that rides. Welcome to the site too. But you may be wanting a name change soon.

For Christmas from my girlfriend for my XS11 sidecar rig, which needs the extra light at night. But, after reading this I think I'm going to go and buy another set for the Venture.

Put a Gel battery in the ex's bike 5 years ago and it was still going strong last year before the son locked it up. We bought it on lake George at Americade for the price of a yusa. THAT was a bargain!

Valentines day I mean. I took Rawhide ( Joanna) out to a Lousiana Bar B Que at Beale Streets last night then out to dancing at Taylors. Night before we had a quiet steak dinner at home with a bottle of wine and a movie!

your daughter looks very much like mine. She's 24 now. They have the same color and type of hair. great job . She'll look back and be glad yoy made it. She'll probably forget the guys name by then but will cherish you capturing that memry for her and making the memories of the day making it.

Nuts! I put the Kendra on my XS11 2 years ago with my sidecar and was amazed at well they wear. Especially the way my sidecar eats through a tire.I thought they were my little secret. Cheap and wear like iron. Oh well i guess the secrets out now.

That Yamaha competed diligently against Honda's Gold wing for years and in sales just couldn't quite beat them. But Yamaha realized that the Harley Ultra was selling strong year after year. Yamaha decided to just start eating Harley's lunch instead of Honda's. Ergo the 2nd Gen. Gee Skydoc, I always thought the Rambler speedo was the coolest part of a second gen. At least THAT was original.

Reading all of these posts, Do you realize that these are all the same things our parents said to us about heavy metal music or that our grandparents said to our parents about Elvis Presley and Rock and Roll? Sure there are kids that still take it too far but didn't we? I guess as long as there are parents and kids this will forever be an age old complaint. It always gives me a chuckle to hear the older generation complain about the new music of youth. I'm sure Beethoven's Father complained about the awful noise his son was making on that new fangeled piano he was playing on. -

Yes I had almost the same thing happen to me last week. i still can't get the windows automatic updates to come on. But I nuetralized the damn thing buy going to Seurity Tango you can Google it. There thay have several anti spy, ad, and mal ware protection along with spy doctor and others. Some protect , some just warn but eventually it semed to get the pop up to stop.( some to fake spyware soft ware). Oddly when it happened something was going on with Google , this was last saturday and when My brother and I were trying to download the anti spy ware there were these prompts on Google saying the spy ware could damage your computer. I think it may have been a web wide attack Google said it was only a glitch in its systems but i think it was something bigger. -

Hey Dark Wolf , I am presently also finishing the process of a three year divorce. The Judge made a judgement on her last request and hopefully she will sign the final papers. Her incentive is that the house I gave her burned down last month and she can't be paid the insurance because the deed is in escrow until he final decree. My daughter is 23 and my son turns twenty next month. My in laws have not been to kind to me in family conversations but at least my son saw enough of the truth to know dad is only 50% responsible for the end of our family. I have always tried to speak kindly of their mother she is sick and needs help only she can give herself. I let then know thoug that I still care and that I'm rooting for her success. My daughter and her mom had a good relationship. A true mother daughter friendship and this has been harder on her. She wants it to just be a nightmare we all cam awaken friom. She blames me for "giving up" but deep down she understands i was the one holding us together. She just wished i could have heald on. I won't let my family bad mouth my ex in front of my kids. They know no ones perfect and i've confessed my short comings. The ex is not in a good place . Shes putting on a good front but even the kids see the deterioration. All you can do is be the best person you can be. Remeber that no matter what at one time you loved that woman and the things you did like about her may still be there. Try to remember that around your kids. If she's screwing up the kids aren't blind not even your son. If you get time to be with your son listen. Listen to his feels about everything . Bear with his anger and apologize for whats true and expalin what is false . Thats all you can do. Then wait.... Its the hardest part the waiting but its all part of the divorce . remeber you aren't alone. if you want to talk more write me here . Good luck Phil.

it was on the news here last night. It looks like the kids are having fun. Well once ever twenty years or so i guess you can't complain huh? Be careful though.even with the sidecar! Been there done that.

Interestingly its mostly the guys getting on here and telling about their wives riding. Hey ladies why not brag a little . personally i've always liked hearing from lady riders and encouraged them My ex and i rode together for 27 years. She rode sport bikes and I could watch her all day long. Come on ladies speak up and be counted!

I live iht the central finger lakes area but others live to the west and east and i'm sure would be glad to escort you Through.
