Evening all, I guess it’s a preference for the pressure in the shocks, running 3 in the front and 35 in the back. Wondering if anyone has had any bad experience with “Progressive Suspension, Air Fork Balance Kit”? Installed the mine halfway through the riding season and had no issues but just curious. Thanks guys for the input, figure it can’t hurt. No worries Brad, we'll hook up soon, just seemed the wife and I always headed north for a rip this summer. Did the magnet wave thing on my old bike, worked for a while but after that felt like I had to do it every time I did the oil change, plus I started to get frustrated when the magnet kept sticking to the steel plate in my head! Ride safe guys

Good evening all, getting ready to do my first oil change and am pondering if I should go with a Magnetic Oil Drain Plug. Suggestions?

Sorry guys for jumping in, but is there a need for re-jetting when replacing stock filters with K&N?

I conquer with "practice, practice and practice". Picked up my 08 in November of 07 and got the DVD for Christmas (big hint from the wife) the first 500 km were in a parking lot doing the RLP routines. Coming from ripping around on an 800 Vulcan, the RSV at first was little intimidating to a 5’7” guy but no worries now (does not mean I’m still not learning more as I go but it helped a lot). PS - Avon’s are order as well (big believer in their performance).

I'll have to agree on the Stebel Nautilus (Chrome) quality issue, had mine delivered yesterday. Was at a 9.5 on the excitement scale, till I took it out the box and then………. dropped…….. to……. a 5? Been looking at it ever since and going by example, if I’m having second thoughts, “there is a problem”. THEN ran a test “toot” and my neighbor 2 houses down, walked out of his house ready to yell at someone for waking up his 3 year old from his nap (he’s an alright guy so I felt sort of bad!). Fact is, that I had intended on mounting the same Hella Horns that I had on my Vulcan 800 till I read the reviews from VR that convinced me to go this route (no!!! not blaming anyone, don’t get all defensive now!!!) But these are sick sounding horns. Now I’m thinking about mounting the one in the fairing and keeping the stock one on the side. I think I’ll just got for ride and play with the stock horns till I get embarrassed enough to make up my mind.

Hope I'm not seeing a trend here, my 08 is in the shop as well:think:. The black box is the issue, so they say. The controller was fading in and out and occassionally would switch from CB to headset and back again. so I've been running on the IPOD ever since. Good luck to both of us.
