K&N Filters
Hulk replied to foundryratjim's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
I've run K&N on both my rides and all my cars, a true believer, on my Vulcan I had dyno’d before and after and there were some improvements, but not much to brag about. Then end agenda was for a cleaner air supply to the carbs and to me worth the coin and peace of mind to me. -
Nice Pic's Keith, going to have to come your way one day!

From the album: RK Bub 7 mufflers

Right with ya Gregg:happy65:, when it comes down to it I'll ride with anyone with two wheels (even three) rain or shine, day or night and am always willing to take a shot as a joke but don't take one at my pride and joy.

The Carbon1 RSV stand is truly brilliant, but took my existing Black-Jack, took a 2/4 piece of wood, fitted it to one side (platform) of the jack and wrapped it up with some industrial rubber, used the excess for the other side as it sits on the fins. The block fits the gap right in front of the rear wheel and I trust it implicitly. Recently threw on a set of pipes on my 08 and was confident enough to work under the bike while she idled, then again.....I'm known to be a little wild!

Nice job Walt, pls let us know how it turns out!

1/2 do believe, keep it in the tool bag just in case.

Hey guys, I came across the same problem. Ended up taking a left over tool from another project, grinding it down on the one side and ...done nice and tight!

Finished the install of the Talon T3300ip, very cool! Ask anyone that knows me, I would never have attempted to do this install, as there is nothing worse than an electrical problem on a bike and doing it on my 08 was a little sketchy (warranty) Did a dry fit and test before actually doing the actual install. Wires took about 3 hours (most of it was trying to find to place the module). Had to however mock up a “quick disconnect” at the LED for those of us, that run it from the module to the front fairing or dash, but otherwise nice system. Keith, placed a call and email to Talon to confirm they are dry on the shelves, if I score, want me to send you a heads up?

I saw that, not cool! Went to Talon because they were out West, hope I dont have any warranty issues, it might get............ugly!

Just had my Talon T3300 (alarm) delivered today, any suggestions on where to put the module?

Hey guys, sorry for jumping in, but does anyone have a picture of the clamps from Ebay actaully in use on a set HD pipes of their RSV? -

Dave, take a look at the Centech AP-2 auxiliary fuse application. Here is the Canadian dealer I found, but there are other places you can find it, bit pricey but I have everything going through it and since then no worries at all and it is expandable http://motorrad.ca/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=35

By far........the best thing-a-ma-jigger to get for the RSV!

Placed my button under the seat opposite the rear air valve, handy and dry.

Been using a B-Tender on each bike I've owned, first thing I put on my ride. Make your connections tight to the battery and (I prefer) to have the connector on the left (stand side), tie wrapped the wire connector to the frame (about an inch or so from the end) to stop excess wire to wiggle out flip/flop in the wind against the chrome.
