  1. Thoughts and prayers that everything works out....
  2. I've got a little more the 100K, 2-1000 mile Iron butt rides on my Corbin.. I love my Corbin. Pillow top and Corbin came with my bike. Got rid of the Pillow top after a 350mile ride with them on.......and that was 100 miles too long.
  3. The 06 is a RSV or 2nd gen Venture. There is an AUX port next to the cassette deck so you can hook up an MP3 or phone to it to listen to music through you speakers or headset. You will have to control the music selection with your devise but you will have volume control on the bike. Regular maintenance is fairly easy as I do most of the maintenance myself and I'm not very mechanically inclined. I can count on one hand the number of times I've done any work on my cars/trucks but I do most of my own work on my bike with the help of this forum and friends I've met here. Once you get the bike pony up the $12 and you wont be sorry it will save you thousands..... I've been here since 2005 and have over 100k on my 04 and with the help of this site it runs like new. Welcome.......
  4. That's easy living next to a DQ.........Retiring...... lucky guy......
  5. I concur.... I always root for the team that beats us in the play-offs. Loosing to the SB Champs is better then being beaten by the loosers.

  8. PAINT IT..... YOUR NOT A STEELERS FAN!!!!!!!!
  9. Even though Mover rides a Blue Bike...... I agree with His analogy on this subject. I personally have not used Pot in about 30+ years and don't intend to...... I believe that if the government get involved it will cost us non-users more $$$$$..... I have no answer to the original question (should it be legal) as I haven't given it much thought. I just know that anytime the Government steps in it costs us $$$$$ BTW... I'm not trying to be political just voicing my opinion on the subject.
  10. I watched the Video and decided to try it. It took all of 30seconds. It Works.... and pretty cool...... I wonder How much time did this lady take to figure this out?

  17. I've thought about it over the years also...... But at 100K.... I just got the RSV broke-in. You never use the CB or headsets....every time I see you, your bags are full but Like you said the Trunk is empty..... your Father-in-law has a nice radio set-up on his v-star get one like his...... I say GO FOR IT I wonder is the RSTD is less Top Heavy then the RSV...

  21. Just ask the guy, before you drive the distance, if there is a piece of leather that is attached on one side with Velcro. or have him take a picture and post here we will let you know. my seat is as Craig described. I'm not sure if Corbin made the seats both ways.. If not I would call Corbin to see if a backrest can be installed.
  22. Haven't been there in a long time but was very good the last time I ate there http://lynnhavenfishhouse.net/ Not cheap though:mo money: But very good
  23. I for one always look at Member Vendors when I need something for my bike..... Then I go to the section Venturerider Vendors section....... I have a new battery coming from Skydoc that should be here today:banana:. I could have driven 25 miles down the road and just picked it up for $10 less.... but this way I didn't have to leave my house and its on the way..... also its supporting other members.
  24. I've been wearing Swat Boots for years. I like the side zippers. Depending on the season I can adjust them for warmer socks then just use the zipper for easy on and off. You might say they are adjustable. I don't buy the waterproof ones. I do use "Camp Dry" 2-3 coats on a new pair and they are good for the life of the boot.
