    If you need any help with this pick-up let me know, I'm about 45 mins from Richmond and would be able to pick you up from airport or meet you somewhere for Dinner/coffee/breakfast. Where in Richmond are you getting the bike?

    After this accident my wife and I have talked about a Modulator and from a Person who doesn't like MC's and isn't a very good driver, she said that the modulator is bad because when she see's one It takes her an extra second to decide what the light is and she says that it is difficult to tell how far off they are. This is a comment from a non-rider/ non-passenger. I'm still not sure. But the wife says NO I agree with this statement. However I think that this doesn't take away any blame on the kids part, she killed another person. I ride with alot of different riders and I see my friends go through a intersection at full speed as if they think the cagers see them. I for one will always hesitate until I see the eyes of the cager and I know that he sees me. intersections scare the Hell out of me.

    Just to set the record straight I never put on the pink chaps. Photo muffin decided to add them to a picture. WOW she is good with the pictures.:rotf: although I do look good in pink HUMMMMMMMM:confused24:

    These two women are correct. After reading of an accident i always evaluate if I'm going to keep riding. then i think of how my stress relief would be gone and I change my mind. I mostly ride alone as the wife doesn't like to ride. My daughter rides with me from time to time and I find that riding is not as relaxing when she is with me. (thats the father in me) so I know what you are going through. Scott you have to make up your own mind and hope it is truley what you want to do we are with you.

    Glad to see you had a great trip. I wish I could have met up with you guys and rode a couple of days. I have seen a Few bikers (me for one) lock up their breaks because of a Black Bear ran out in front of them. I also saw a biker go down because of a bear. He and His bike were ok.

    Ok so what I have figured out from this thread is that we are going to have Pie in Bobbie's dungeon. Don't want to know what the Ice cream is for I wouldn't ruin good pie with Ice Cream. This is shaping up to be a Fun Meet and Eat. But can the Dungeon handle that many people.

    next time we are at a meet and eat together take a look at mine. I removed the eyebrows about a year ago. I like the look better.

    Yes in the State of VA when you turn on your High beems your passing lamps should go off. However I am going to rewire them so they are on all the time. I was talking to a couple of state troopers and they think that the law is stupid here is the reason, If a car is in front of you or approaching you dim the high beam. When you go in for inspection just turn off the passing lamps They are not needed for inspection.

    George, They were having a M&E without telling us. well couldn't have made it anyway. We were cleaning our basement all weekend after the county sewer line broke and backed up. i noow have a large hole in my driveway and they will resume digging on monday. Pipe is almost fixed. they even Hired some pro cleaners to do the messy cleaning. Next time you guys have a M$E and don't tell anyone.....well.....well...I.....um.....gonna tell Freebird.

    Try this one. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1063 I have a showchrome windshield and love it. When it raine I can either opt to duck behind it or look over it. Depends how much hail. A local bike shop got it for me. i can't seem to find it on the web:confused07:
