  1. I beleive that the show Chrome and Clearview windsheilds are about the same width. But the show chrome only comes in a short windsheild (like I have). If you are looking to reduce wind on the passenger then go with a Clearview.
  2. Well the first picture is me looking under Beer30's bike at his new air horns that didn't work using the horn button. Ok I got the first one is there a prize or are you just trying to start some thing I will not comment on what Beer30 was doing out side the bathroom while Sledgehammer was in there. But I think there will be a "MANCARD" investigation.
  3. Great to meet you. I hope I'll see you at other events. This is why I don't bring a camera. Between The mechanic and others there are more pictures then I need. Also I'm in alot more then I would be if i were taking the pics.
  4. With pictures like this one you just might loose your "MANCARD":rotfl: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/Sleeperhawks%20Mechanic%20VA%20ME%2020080412/IMG_2170.jpg
  5. Congratulations Principal, Now maybe we can get together and break-in that new ride of yours.
  6. I'm telling on you guys:stirthepot: HEY FREEBIRD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think that this thread has just gotten out of hand. I thought that this was a PG site. Nobody needs the mental picture of Sledge and me jello wrestling:scared: Only the muffinman should wear pink. This is harassment!
  7. Got the shorter show chrome on my bike for the past 3 years and love it. I wish I had gotten the tinted one. It would cut down some of the glear on bright days. I've seen the tinted one and it is not dark at all so there is no problem seeing at night. If you come to the Va Meet and eat you can see a non-tinted one and I believe that Color01 is going to be there with his tinted one.
  8. :scared::Im not listening to:no-no-no::no-no-no::no-no-no:
  9. Darn the luck We going right by it on the way to or from DC. We will see what the group says:thumbsup2:
  10. Guys settle down. At the Va meet and eat there can be no Dewy-Dong stuff. No jello wrestling. Its where I live and I must remain respectable I only act up when I'm out of town. Now that I got you beleving that anyone want to buy The Bay Bridge Tunnel its going for only 50,000.00:rotf::rotf::rasberry: BTW Mini and Beer -------I DON'T DO PINK!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Gongrats and good job. Now you need to get a bike so you can ride. In VA after you take the class they tell you that "you are now certified to drive a bike in a parking lot at 15miles per hour". In order to do anything else you need to practice. I know that you will work on your skills with George so you can "keep the rubber down and the paint up". So did you drop the bike in class?
  12. Is that the only color they sell. I would like to get a Black one if they have one.
  13. I bought my RSV in April 05. I was told about your sitein Feb 05 by "Leo" aka Craig a friend in georga who was looking to buy a MSRV which he did 2 day after I did. I was a lurker for a few months. I signed up in I think May 05 and been hooked ever since. My first Meet and eat was in NC in November 05 and have been trying to make as many as possible since.
  14. before I order anything that is talked about on this forum I look in the venders that offer a discount to see if I can save a buck or two. Either I'm too slow or your too fast.
  15. Don't forget to use VENTURERIDER in the promo code to get a 10% discount. I just ordered some for my new tires..that I ordered yesterday.
  16. Welcome Renee Well its good to have you sign up on our site. Hopefully you will be checking in often and putting in your 2 cents when ever you can. (just watch Mini-Muffin she is a pro) There are strong bonds that just happen here. I not sure why, but it is very nice to have. I had a great time visiting with you guys over easter weekend. My family had to be away so I was able to spend it with my other family. Thanks for the memories. Your brothers B-day is much more inportant then any meet and eat as there will be more in the future for you to attend. Have a good time at the surprise party and we will be thinking of you so you will be there in spirit. BTW if I owned one of those Wii games i would not get any work done, I can see how addicting those things could be. Mini is already talking about getting one. Again welcome.
  17. I would agree with you. I love the looks and the power of that bike. I wonder how it would look with a fairing.http://www.triumph.co.uk/images/Tourer_gallery_main_1_2008.jpg
  18. Whats with the nitrogen in tires I just heard of this being used in cars but not sure why when air is free
  19. George, You need to go take pictures. We would all love to see Bobbie on a 250. that has to be a sight to see. I forgot it was this weekend or I would have ridden dow for the event.
  20. Yup we have alot of fun here in our portion of the country. Any Meet and eat will do. NC, SC, GA, FL, VA we ask that you just don't bring Payton Manning:rasberry: So, I see how it is. You are forgeting our breakfast date already:bawling:
  21. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/Sleeperhawks%20Mechanic%20GA%20ME%2020080329/IMG_1897.jpg Not the best picture of Wildhair that I've seen.
  22. I don't know have you seen some of his other posts:rotfl: Buddy glad you were able to walk away for it all. As always bike can be fixed alot easier then riders. thank god you are alright.
  23. we will let Tim explain this comment.. After all its his W.I.I. game:rasberry: First time i missed out on sleep to plag a Video Game:confused07:
  24. Well Just made it back. It was a little longer trip then I thought. muffinman and I decided to help Tim out with a few home repairs....... we tackled some wiring issues and ended up doing that most of the day. Tim you have some problems over there but we will schedule some other time to get that stuff up to snuff. as far as the Colortune. and after a 240 mile ride back home. i did notice a huge differance with throttle response. i had thought my clutch was starting to ware a little. When i was in 5th the bike seemed a little slugish before the CT. But that is all gone. even though the mountians on I64 in VA the bike was quicker and no longer slugish. the bike also rode much smoother. i have 43,000 miles on the bike and I guess it was time to do this. I only picked up about 3-4 miles per gallon but the bike rides much better. I'll see how things go next weekend when i ride to Atlanta for the meet and eat and rep[ort back. I agree with Salty Dawg that while you have the plugs may as well change them if the haven't been changed in a while. Thanks to Tim and Renee for making this a very memorable easter weekend. Thanks to muffinman and Mini-Muffin for the colortine. And thanks to Beer30 for being Beer30:confused24:
