    Yup, We vacation at Wrightville beach every year for the past 6 years, Craig, Kimberly and I always take our bikes. We ride every morning till about 12-2 then we hit the beach. Last year we decided to look into MB for a change. Every place that was big enough for the two families said NO MOTORCYCLES. So we are at Wrightsville Beach again this year. If MB don't want our money then we will spend it else where!

    Bead Rider beads are what I've been using for a couple of years now and love them. I have a corbin seat and love it also. You pillowtop riders may not like the hardness. I can ride all day in comfort with no monkey butt:thumbsup2:. One day I'll try the sheepskin to see what its all about.

    Yes the MUFFINMAN did this adjustment to my bike and Sledgehammer's We both noticed an increase in gas milage. Mine went from 30-31mpg to 33-36mpg. I also had a color tune before this adjustment and really didn't notice a mpg change till this adjustment. The color tune gave me a better responce to the throttle. This adjustment gave me better mpg and a little smoother idol at stop light and signs. I'm sure Tim aka Sledgehammer will chime in

    Timster, Hope you have a great visit to VA. I wish I could catch-up with you while you are here. However I'll be at the Beach in NC, for family vacation that week. I sure ththere are other VA members Like Bubba that will catch-up with you. Ride safe and enjoy the VA mountians.

    Jeff, As you know you have been a great friend to many people on this site. You have given me alot of confidence to work on my own bike knowing that you are just a phone call away, and wouldn't hesitate to ride the 3.5hrs to bail me out if I needed it. Until I met members here i wouldn't work on my own bikes. I'm a carpenter and Chef not a machanic, is what I always told people. You muffinman have changed my view on this subject. So heres to you my good friend! You deserve the SS project bike. BTW: Don't let me here that you have neglected this bike to fix someones elses bike. :no-no-no:Yours must come first in order to ride to all the places you are needed!

    Glad you guys made it home OK. I made it home about 2:30pm. What a hot day. Are there any pictures of Muffinman on the 08? i had it easy this time I only rode 970 miles. I'll talk to you guys soon.

    V7goose, We will not be even going near I-77 till we get into OH. It would be about a 4.5 hour detour for us. Now if you happen to be comming Virginia and want to meet up give me a shout any time day or night. We will be leaving Va around 9-10an on friday

    Yeah what Bigfoot said. Great riding once you get away from NoVa. Maybe we could meet up and do some riding. I'm about 1 hour away from Reston.

    I try to attend as many functions as I can. Holidays are usually not a good time for me as I have a wife that doesn't ride. As with last years rally as soon as I saw that it was around the week that we do family vacation I just knew that I couldn't attend so I stopped looking to the threads. No need to rub it in to myself. I go to these thinks to meet members and to ride, so the T-shirts and the pins are not important to me desides they are usually Black or grey like every other biker event. Maybe one year it will be moved to another month and I'll show up.

    Now this is what I call a family website. For a member to visit another members father's grave and say a quick prayer. It brings a tear to my eye. JB you are one hell of a guy. Remember our vets and thank them for our freedoms we enjoy.:usa:
