You know I love you MINI, and this Idea is great However I think that for this day we need to concentrate on the VR.ORG fund to help our fearless leader with the cost of running this website. I know that ST judes is a great cause but I think that VR,org is a better cause on this one day. As Freebird said: "I think we have to be careful because I worry sometimes that we ask our members too often to donate. We have some very generous folks here and I fear that some just don't know how to say "sorry, I would love to but money is a bit tight right now"." And as big as Maint. Day has gotten i would hate to see Freebird shell out even more then he already does. "I was talked last year..may have been the year before...into putting out a donation can to help with the food and etc. That has been a life saver for me as the cost of this little one day (yea right) gathering has grown to well over a thousand bucks by the time it's all done. With your generous donations, I have managed to pretty much break even on expenses and I sincerely appreciate that." And anything left over should go towards the VR.org costs. Just my

Problem with Carbon_One lift adapter

Same thing happened to me. I found out that the tabs under the bike were bent just enough. I took some vise grips and bent them back. I love the lift adapter. -

I agree, hit the rev limiter shift fast and watch how you almost "slingshot" forward. This bike is made to run.

Oberlin Inn is the host hotel. Motel 6 is cheeper. Wherever i am is the place to be:whistling: No plans yet as to when I'll be leaving. I know that there will be a group from Virginia going (the bugfishes, venturingsole, nkbjones, etc...) I know that we usually leave on friday and return on sunday. its only a 7.5-8 hr ride.

Also never noticed that my was hot. It was 26* with out windchill that morning so it wouldn't have gotten hot.

No Warning at all. Just got gas and was on the interstate cruze set at 83mph. (gps said 75) Lost cruze and then all power. coasted accross 2 lanes and got to the breakdown lane. i didn't even have time to try and reset the cruze control it all happened very fast.
