Wanted, stock or Clearview XL/XXL RSV windscreen
Riderduke replied to Wrongway's topic in Watering Hole
I got a stock one sitting around. Its yours just pay shipping or I can bring it to M Day you still going? -
I lile mine. my wife also like it so she can get in touch with me as needed. The wind noise is not a problem under 55mph. I where a half helmet and at interstate speeds above 65mph it makes it hard to carry on a conversation but you can say short statements. under 55mph my wife and I have full conversations no problem. i know others that have full face helmets and when I talk to them i don't even know they are on a bike.

Calling all Farkle Freaks
Riderduke replied to Bigfoot's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Bigfoot, If you have any problems getting tire put on check out this place in Stafford. http://www.samedaytirechange.com/ He is a member here (Breakingparts ...Ryan) i get my tires mounted there. I have a stebel horn they do get others attention http://www.bikerhiway.com/stebel-nautilus-compact-motorcycle-air-horn-chrome-p-807.html They are easy to install. Hale374 has a post here on how to install and you can make it easier by ordering Carbon one's bracket. I have 55K on my 04 and my front brakes are not worn. Now I'm on my 3rd set of rears though. I would check them out before buying them. If you need any help with these things give me a hollar -

Northern VA mechanical help
Riderduke replied to Bigfoot's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Having one down here would be good. but the spring is filling up fast. As long as you could get others who can do maintenance. You don't want me working on bikes:rotf: hey maybe that is what Bigfoot should do. have a M&E at his house and he could get his stuff done. esp if we can get others who can do this stuff. i know that Spotsy, Breakingparts, Kitesquid, are good with tools.- 9 replies

Ride to Graves Mountain Lodge in Virginia
Riderduke replied to Ndiaz's topic in South Atlantic States
Nick, You were in my neck of the woods. You should have called I would have skiped work to meet you. That place is one of the places that I want to visit one day. -
I got my bike with both the stock "pillow"seat and a Corbin. I rode it home from Pittsburg Area on the corbin. the following weekend I rode about 500 miles on the stock seat. When I got home I put the corbin seat back on and got rid of the stock seat. I have 60,000 miles on this seat and its the best seat I have ever ridden in besides the Mustang I on my Honda ACE 1100. A 1200 mile weekend is a norm for me and I have no problems with the corbin. My wife can only do about 200 miles in the corbin rear seat. She thinks its too hard. I will get the rear soffened up in the near future. As for me, in the summer I put on wood beads for more comfort. (monkey butt).

Wish i could have been there. i worked most of the day on Saturday, Rode some on sunday also got some honey-do's done.
