Thanks for sharing! In my younger days we built experimental planes about the same way. you would shape foam, cutting with a heated nicrome wire, sand to shape, then a lot of fiberglassing and filling. To make a project like this out of your mind is awsome!

Before buying a lower seat, give the butt butler a call! He's a member here, you can find him in the classifieds. he reworks seats, is very reasonable, excellent work, and great to do business with. I'm inseam impaired and he lowered my seat and I just love it. Give him a try you won't be dissapointed!

I've got a great dealer even though I didn't buy there! When I first took it in for service, the lead mechanic came out and introduced himself and told me that he was factory trained on the Venture. Never had any kind of problem with these folks! Before I bought or had work done, I would go in there and talk with the folks. you'll get a feeling on if they are going to be competent or not. Ask about if anyone in the service dept. is trained on these beasts. If it doesn't feel good it probably isn't and try somewhere else!

I don't know what the problem is , I love the stuff! To get in the mood for Christmas we always take a day or two in Gatlinberg to see the white stuff then come back home to Atlanta, cut our lawn and put out the decorations! How lucky you are to just look out your window and see feet of the stuff all winter long!!

Good luck! We'll be out here praying for you and you'll be in our thoughts. Please keep us informed!

I had a motherinlaw that was collecting ssi, she ahd to go back to work part time and found out after a year that for every 2 dollars she made she had to pay 1 to ssi. Isn't it great that we have millions to give to the big corps but the little man suffers. God bless the big shots and their corperate byoffs!!!

Looks like the worst is over. Took a ride around ysterday and no more roads closed (at least in my area). The sun was shining and some people were even able to cut their lawns. It seems the water left as quick as it came! What a difference a day makes. Thanks everyone for your concerns!!

Had an 9" creek flowing through the back yard during the worst of it. Came close to the foudation, but thank you Jesus the house stayed dry! All the schools in the area and a lot of the roads in the area are still closed, but I fared better than a lot of the people out there. Things look a whole lot better today up here in Acworth.

Don, Sorry to hear about the loss of the vision, but like you say the main thing is the cancer. Hang in there and take heart in the fact that you are in our thoughts and prayers! If anything is needed we are out here for you!
