  1. SOUND IS GREAT. DEEPER AND A LITTLE LOUDER. NOW IF YOU DRILL THEM OUT THEY ARE AWESOME. NOT TO LOUD, BUT A NICE DEEP BARK WHEN YOU GET ON IT.
  2. I LOVE THAT COLOR. THAT'S THE ONLY 1ST GEN I HAVE EVER SAW THAT I WANT IN MY GARAGE. I SAY YOU SHOULD FIX IT ALL UP AND GIVE IT TO ME. WHO KNOWS MAYBE YOU WILL TOTALLY CONVERT ME TO THE NOT-SO-BRIGHT 1ST GEN SIDE
  3. 10 days:rotf:
  4. I posted the message in the Trailer towing forum on Delphi. I know at least one person from there ebay id-VP Cheney said they would be bidding.
  5. I personally FULLY support LEO's. Wouldn't bother me a bit if they had shot him in the knee.
  6. I don't know if your last two bikes had sufficient time to develop cracks
  7. Read the manual too, I didn't as usual and almost went out and bought a clock for my RSV? The manual does a faily good job and you can down load the PDF version fairly easy, if you don't have the original.
  8. Sweet! I need one for my Stag Beer affliction
  9. AND NEVER EVER LOAN IT TO YOU!!!
  10. I would suggest you ride it with the new Corbin seat for awhile before you buy. I always had a backrest on my RSTD and now my RSV. Then I got a Corbin without. The way the Corbin is made and sits you I found I don't even miss the backrest. Matter of fact I think it might be uncomfortable.
  11. Yeah that's cool. I wonder:whistling:what one with Venture Bags would look like and Cost.........
  12. Man am I glad you two were not hurt any worse than you were. Been praying for speedy recovery since it happened. I keep thinking back to us standing in the back of the trailer and lookin it all over commenting on how your were getting it how you wanted it. How did the hitch rack fair? Looked fair in one of the pics. Its that good old Squid craftsmanship! Of course, I won't pay you as much for it now though Take care and start shopping for that next bike:thumbsup:

  15. Man Believe Me, I FEEL FOR YOU! When I totalled my 2005 RSTD and broke ALL my Ribs, multiple places on the right side my lung collapsed about 2 weeks after the accident. Dr. said oh Chest Tube doesn't hurt much. Well, BULL Sh*T! Glad you are home and doing good. Jay
  16. Good Lord, I hope not:rotf:
  17. Congrats. Bet your happy!
  18. Well, yesterday I bought a new (used) vehicle. 2004 AWD Olds Bravada. Wow this baby is loaded. Never had a vehicle with so many bells and Whistles. Heated Leather Seats, Driver info Center with all kinds of things. Its gonna take me a couple months just to figure out how to use everything. Coming from a Ford Focus, so its nice to be back in a bigger vehicle again. I should be able to tow a trailer also, which is something I have wanted to be able to do. Wife and I have talked about how it would be nice to take a Winter getaway with the bike. QUESTION Has anyone ever installed any of the chips/modules that claim to increase horsepower & mileage? If so, what is your opinion or experience? Do they really work? Thanks for any responses. Jay
  19. Well this morning I sent an electronic request for Room Reservations for the 10th - 13th. Not sure if my wife is going to go or not, so requested a room with Queen Beds, in case she doesn't and someone wants to share, Lowell Where Are You?? Looking forward to it. Had a GREAT Time last year.
  20. I have access through my wireless phone to accuweather and Weather.com. Think it costs me a little each month to access these limited web features. I make the $$ and the wife pays the bills so I really have no idea how much $. $12.95/month seems familiar.
  21. If I don't forget, I just might bless you with my presence!
  22. Mine too
  23. Congratulations Don and Eileen! I wish many more years of love and happiness. I can certainly relate. Remind me sometime to tell you about how my wife and I met. God doesn't give us what we want, only what we NEED. Have a great time on your getaway and try to stay away from here as much as possible. Believe it or not, we will survive!
  24. Ditto. This is exactly what I was told also. I bought mine from an individual in Feb and didn't get it into dealer till March. No problems.
  25. Yes they are THAT good. I personally believe they are NOT a safety hazzard but just the opposite. I used to have to be looking at every street sign because I wasn't exactly sure of the distance to the next turn. With the GPS it tells me its 2 mles away, .4 miles away, 300 yards away and then next Left/Right. So now I'm able to concentrate on the road and traffic. Also, since I've been known to make a few wrong turns:confused24: it just recalculates the route instead of having to pull over grab a map and figure out where the H*ll I am after I've went 30 miles on the wrong road.
