    Way to go!! I was up to 7lbs lost over the weekend, but a few too many beers brought me back to 6lbs I have 29lbs to go!

    My wife, son and I, as well as my Brother in law and his wife and daughter are strongly considering going on a Disney Cruise in October or November. Many of you know my son has a severe Heart Defect, so while I can't really afford it I'm doing it anyway. We don't like to fly so we will probably drive. Here are my questions: 1) Anyone ever rent and RV? Would like to rent it to get down to Florida and then rent one again to get back. 2) Any other ideas so we could all go down together? 3) Anyone been on a Disney Cruise? If so, Tell me your thoughts please. Thanks

    Sooner or later the CB antenna is going to break even with out a flag on it, I would think the flag might just speed that along. I know quite a few have broken for others like mine did, right in the black piece.

    Yeah, I was all set to get the Zumo until I saw the price of the antenna So, now I have my Nuvi 650 wid screen - $189 and XM radio EZ Express - $39. I have two dock and two antennas so I just undock both and move them to my SUV. I don't go anywhere without both.

    I had a V*1100 prior to going to an RSTD (which I totalled ) The V* had the whine too, so when I first road the RSTD I just thought it normal. Bought a 2003 RSV with 9K miles in 2/06, now have 51K miles on it. I wear headset and listen to music, so i don't hear any noises. I love my bike and its accelleration and comfort. In 2010 I will be looking for a new bike. I'm really hoping Yamaha has an updated Venture by then. If not I plan to compare the new Kawasaki Voyager, HD Ultra Classic, Goldwing, Victory Vision, but I really hope I get a Yamaha.     I'm using Weight Watchers My official goal was 35lbs, unofficially 40lbs. 1st week I've lost 6 lbs. My only problem is a low calorie, low fat salty snack other than rice cakes. Any ideas would be appreciated. Jay

    Well said! I'm going to smoke if I want to, no matter what anyone says, so some of the money I put towards it might as well benefit VentureRiders. My Father also passed from Smoking related illness, COPD. Its been almost 15 years and there isn't a day goes by I don't think of him. However, it is still a choice. BTTW - I also give money to Heart Association and Cancer Society. Just trying to keep all the bases covered.

    Your best bet in the van would probably be one of those FM modulators. It would play your MP3's and your voice guidance instructions. Make sure if you get one it has infinite station selection. I had one that had about 4 or 5 choices and in my area everyone of those had a local station that overroad the transmitter. Granted it was the ultra cheap model.

    I thought you guys ended up not coming last year, but I could be dreaming. Bill and I were there on Saturday. Little rain, Lots of wind, but overall enjoyable. I even got to purchase a NEW battery

    I got the one from www.coverals.biz very nice and rolls up small. They have donated to rally's before also, so I like to use vendors who support us.
