I like that idea. I know nothing and really don't have much of a desire to learn. I just enjoy meeting folks. It would be nice if there was a little more time to ride and visit.

Owned and Broke Horses for Trail riding myself for awhile. Loved to ride, just couldn't afford it. Boy a bike is cheap compared to and eating/pooping machine I also have the breaks to prove it too. legs, arms, shoulders, & feet stepped on too many times to remember:crying:. At least to date, my MC has never run over my foot.

Oh Definetly. While I was laying there writhing in pain, waiting for the helicopter, I told my buddy that "Well, looks like I can bet a Venture now!" Had my 2003 found and bought before I even got released back to work.

I thought it was very nice. Can't wait to go again next year. Every manufacture, hands on the bikes. Lots of Vendors as well. My wife snagged a super nice 3/4 textile riding jacket for $39! Of course going on Sunday they were out of my size. My son had a good time too. Took lots of pictures of hime on various 4 wheelers and scooters. Don't think I'll have to worry about him following in my foot steps!

This was my 1st Royal. Loved this bike. Bought it new in bought it in March 2005. 25K miles later in October 2005 I totaled it in Tennessee

Just Got back from the show today. Of all the bikes I sat on and looked over, I think I liked the Victory Vision, 2nd to the Venture in Tan and Black. The Kawasaki seemed fine to me. No more flimsy than the Venture, but I think the passenger would loose room. Come spring I think I'm gonna find somewhere to take one for a test ride.

If you come up from Southern IL I like riding RT 51. Gets you there pretty good and passes through some nice places.- 22 replies

How to clean a Clearview windshield
RoadKill replied to davecb's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I use Pledge. Spray it on. Have a smoke, then wipe of with Baby diaper. Really removes bugs and leaves a film that will help bead water. -
Likes like those are PRODUCTION NUMBERS, not Sales, at least I couldn't find the Sales figures by manufacturer

We paid $12. Oh well, won't be standing in line to use the coupon. Hope I see you there. Jay

I bought my tickets on line. How much are they at the door? Maybe I should have waited.

What about the wiring kits and isolator form MC Hitch. Not plug and play, but seems to provide everything you might need.

Don't....I was speaking from experience. I also was going down the road and my bike just died. Coasted to a stop, tried starting it, Nothing. I was freaking Out. Turns out I had hit the kill switch. That's how you feel like an idiot.

I know this sounds crazy, but did you Turn it back on? Normally mine is always on, and when I put a new battery in, it took me a while to remember I had to turn it on.

Me, the better half and my son will be there Sunday. We are going up for the weekend and go to the Shedd Aquarium on Saturday.

Ditto to what LA said good area too, right off Interstate and behind a Bob Evans. You won't have any problems.

GUILTY AS CHARGED! However, I really do try not to. Somethimes I even warn that the post is going south and it needs to be cooled. But then that little Devil on my shoulder grabs my fingers and before I know it......well you know the rest. I will try to do better. TO ALL MEMBERS: I appologize and I will renew and double my efforts to show restraint. Again, I am sorry. Jay

SWEET. If has some extra cash I would buy a 1st Gen just so I could see what its like. They must be good, because you and a lot of folks here really like them. Jay

It was Motel 6, here is the number 440-988-3266 I was the 1st to reserve and I haven't heard anything yet, but I know Allan H, now Wrongway, just reserved too. I'll call today if I have time and see how its going. They might be waiting to see if we get 10+ reservations as she said they could give us a discount if we had that many. I know last year it was less than $50 a night.
