Looking for a windshield - Do YOU have one collecting dust?
RoadKill replied to LilBeaver's topic in Watering Hole
If you call Clearview they sometimes have 2nds for a reduced price also. I got mine that way for my 2003 and it was significantly cheaper and I never did find the blemish. I also have a OEM shield that I would let go for a donation to the site and shipping to me. -
Its too bad you can't ride with the local chapters more than a few times without having to pay the crooks at national. There are good folks in the local chapters. Hey I know!! Lets all go visit a STAR chapter, hand out VentureRider cards and tell them if they want to ride, eat and be part of the BEST family on earth come on over!!! and as they leave they can tell Allen Cease to stick it:whistling:
-
Nice to meet you and Rachel. Hope you had a good ride. Jay

I agree with alot said. No use for national. Local groups think a 25 mile ride to lunch and back is a day of riding:confused24: Way too many rules

I'm interested in at least 2.

Beware using your debit card at the gas pump
RoadKill replied to Venturous Randy's topic in Watering Hole
I use my Debit Card for everything! I never have more than $5 in my pocket. When i buy gas I use it as Credit and have never seen the hold when viewing my account online. I have never had fraudulent charges on my debit card. However it has happened 4 times with my Credit Card as I use it for Hotels, online purchases and by paypal backup. Everytime however the Credit Card company called me to warn me as it was always mid cycle so it would have been a few weeks before I would have seen it. So I guess it is what ever works for you, Me, Debit, Debit, Debit!!!! -
Freebird & the Moderators, I believe are the only ones that can delete a post. Don't worry about it, it will get deleted. You could just start talking US politics and that would get it deleted too

Here are my opinoins based on my 2003 I recently traded 1- How many have the loud wine from the drive line? I'd say 25%. I did not have it or at least did not hear it 2- How often is the drive line maintenance done? (grease the pins and remove the rear wheel and what ever else) At rear tire changes, depending on which tire you use say 10K miles 3- Are there any other issues with this bike that need to be addressed as soon as the bike is picked up from the dealer? not in my opinion, just ride it with plenty of RPM's 4- How are the bikes for general overall maintenance? Very good, I just follow the manual

Our House too! The latest is in the picture with my son.

Well, My SUV has been slowly crapping out and I knew with what was coming it was going to really cost me. Yesterday, I decided to go looking for something New to trade for, before I sunk even more $ into a lost cause. BAD NEWS - Robbed My Motorcycle Trip fund -I found a 2009 Extended Cab F150 that I traded for, but to do so I had to rob my trip money for down payment. Good News - New 2009 F150 - Man is it nice to have a truck again. Actually the truck with the V8 is going to get as good or better than my SUV did and I'll have even more towing power for my enclosed trailer. Bad, Bad News - With all my trip $ gone, I will NOT be coming to the International Rally in August. Oh well, S--t happens, I'll just be riding a lot of day trips. Got to talk to LA about the HUB room I had reserved for us and see what he wants to do. You'all better take lots of pictures

No they probably do not. They have to be purchased seperately, but I would call Garmin 1st.

Keep up the exercises and I'll race you at the Hub Rally:rotf:

Dave, I use a Boostaroo in line to my SP 2730, it allows the volume on the bike to be set at about 17 and boosts the incoming signal from the GPS. Google them I know Best Buy, Target and Walmart sell them.

RoadKill replied to Squidley's topic in Watering Hole
Talked to Kenny a little while ago. Sounded it good spirits considering and it seems the meds are working and he is in less pain. Definetly in our prayers my friend. -

Why would they want GM, in reality they own the US with all the bonds they hold!

Well Dale, Cinderella and Haylie made it to Springfield last night. Stopped in and saw them for a few minutes. Dale said he rode in some type of rain almost all day. I'm just glad they were not getting here when we had a big blow go through. Wind blew so hard it blow my deck chairs, table, umbrella and umbrella stand half into the pool. Probably would not have been quite so bad if I had remembered:confused24: to put the umbrella down:whistling:. Anyway they will be off to Ohio tomorrow.

Thanks Sharon (Doodette! ) Tell John Hello for me and that I'll miss him at MD. Now I won't have any one to hobble around with

You are in my prayers John. I'll miss you at MD, but looking forward to seeing you in August. Do what the Dr's say and we'll be praying for the best.
