Evan, we where honoured to be apart of your big day along with Anne as the two of you where also celebrating a big 25 years of marital bliss. You are one lucky young man.

More well wishes to you Evan. Have a great year. So Carl, has there been 70 well wishes yet. He sure doesn't look his age and we all know he doesn't act it, but who of us do. That wouldn't be any fun.

Thank you Paul and Mary. You hosted a great meet and eat. And as you said there was some maintenance as well. We had a good visit with some great people. Thanks again for hosting the day and the great lunch.

As the rider on the 2nd Gen, I absolutely love the ride and comfort. I am forced to stop at times because I have to gas up. Specifically you where asking about the passenger as well. My wife and others have called this bike a couch on wheels. She is extremely comfortable sitting back there with lots of room and on many 10 to 15 hour riding days she has been so comfortable that she has fallen asleep. No exaggeration, on the hours of riding. This bike is so comfortable. Please do yourselves a favour and take one for a test drive and decide how it may or may not suit the two of you. Good luck in the hunt and have fun.

Congratulations, I wish you all the best and an easy transition moving into your new home. Life now has so many possibilities for you. You are a lucky couple.

Thanks Mike, when I believe I can go for a longer ride I will reach out to you. Dave

Paul, that sounds like a fantastic time and event you are planning there. I will keep this in mind, but at present my wife is wanting me to take her away that weekend, but I'll see if we can do both.

Prayers sent Sharon's way along with the Surgeon's to do the best they can.

September 19th and I finally got out on my bike today for a short ride. My shoulder and arm felt a little shaky, but I did it. A long haul from April til now. I'd like to say it felt amazing getting out on the bike, but it was really only around the neighbourhood to see how the arm felt at slow speeds. I don't want to jeopardize myself or anyone else on the road.

How exciting for Eileen and yourself. What a great purchase, and it looks amazing. How cool to hear that the two of you went out for a ride together on your own machines. The future looks bright. Have loads of fun.

Thank you WNY Venture Riders for putting on this great Rally/Gathering. I count myself very lucky for being able to attend at the last minute. I still can't ride my bike, so I went without it and had a great time. I was offered by many that had the space in the day time if I wanted to be a passenger for the rides. Decisions, what to get on, a Venture, Trike, Sidecar, Honda, or what won out was the Spyder. Thank you Carl and all the others that did offer to take me. You are all a great bunch of people. The planning for this event was flawless, which means you all put a lot of work into this. All of us that where there had a great time and certainly appreciated all the hard work you guys did and where doing while we where there enjoying all the spoils you all had planned for us. Thank you again for a great weekend. I look forward to next years WNY Rally. Any new or long time members, this is an event you should get to next year.

CONGRATULATIONS Bert, I wish you loads of good times in the RV. Will you be towing your bike on some adventures? I can't give you any advice on your question, but we just bought an 03 MH as well two weeks ago. I just got it plated today so I may go to the WNY Rally. Another good forum I found but for the RV is called, IRV2. You may get some more information thru that site that may help. Even without plates we did some Boondocking camping which was so good. Ours is only a 24 foot but there are two coach batteries inside. They do charge while driving, and while parked in our driveway and plugged in. We only used our generator for 15 minutes one evening to use the microwave, but after 3 days our batteries where still registering 3/4 full.

A Bucket List Trip 2.0. Or How I will spend my summer 2.0
dogman replied to The Tooch's topic in Watering Hole
WELCOME HOME DAVE!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like some great sights from your blog. It sure must have been cold riding in Newfoundland from reading the blog and viewing the ice and icebergs in the ocean. So...... the big question. Does it still feel like retirement or with the weather on the trip did it feel like work? Not that work is a bad thing, especially while on your bike. -

Some great reading on your blog, to see how much fun you guys are having. Enjoy the Gaspe. You can stop and try some hang gliding over the edge and Ocean. -
I'm glad to hear as well that Becky did not got seriously hurt. She may be sore for a few days or more though. As Carl says you are the Chief cook and bottle washer for a bit.

Great memory Dave for the two of you both back in the day and now that you get to ride together. Just asking....... Her Harley looks bigger then your bike. Are you gonna let your sister ride a bigger bike then you?

Good for you to get the season started. Inspite of that snow the roads look dry. Be safe and have fun.

Fantastic news Reiny. I'm glad everything worked out. I know you would of had a lot of pain in your recovery process, I hope that is well behind you. Great attitude about your food choices and exercise. You must be very excited now for your present and future. All the best young man.

Congratulations Carl. A long road this was for all of you involved. Too bad you couldn't build the size you wanted. I hope it does work out after a short time and not too cost prohibitive then.
