1. Excellent pictures and video, and so professionally put together.
2. Great pictures. Keep enjoying your trip. If the fog rolls in, you may have to take a break. It gets pretty thick and dangerous. On coming drivers will be in your lane. Experience proved this to me.
3. Congratulations Don on your new bike. I hope it is as enjoyable to ride as your hoping. I'm sure if you are riding it will be enjoyable. As posted earlier, it will be great to hear your comparisons to the RSV. The pictures sure look good and great choices in your accessories. Have a great ride to Galena.
4. Don, thanks to your help the bike is running great. The vibration in the handle bars is gone. I'm not sure if it was the carb sinc, or handle bar tightening or combination of both. But it much smoother now.
5. Evan, I must say Bernie has been a trooper, no complaining. And she has really enjoyed it. Even the cold and rain. The bugs on the other hand are out of control in The far north. You can not enjoy anything in the outdoors. We where lucky only a few got into our trailer each night while we where getting in. Tomorrow another day of rafting but on a smaller 6 person raft. We only flipped once today but they said we will flip many times tomorrow. After rafting we are off to Ottawa.
6. Great fun today doing the white water raging. We now have the day to relax sort of speak. No riding today it feels strange. They provide breakfast lunch and dinner. I forgot to post a couple of picks from one of our resting areas in Espanola a few days back. A real out house

Yes the carbon one lift adapter works great for changing oil and other Repairs and if course storage for our winter season
8. We started our ride today at 8:40 in rain and a very cold 4 degrees. Two hours into the ride I had to stop to warm up my hands. The water proof gloves where soaked thru and I was loosing the dexterity of my fingers. An hour to warm up and a full belly and out into the cold rain again. Kept riding until 2 in the cold rain. The rain stopped and we kept riding to 3 and felt the warm air. Stopped and took off our rain gear. It wasn't long and we reached some great riding temperatures of 30 degrees. Only in Canada, such temperature changes. At 8:50 we pulled into our camp grounds in Forrester Falls, for our white water rafting adventure for the next two days on the Ottawa river.
9. Today we rode from Thunder Bay Area to Moonbeam along Hwy 11. The road started out very scenic when it breaks away from Hwy 17. It runs along side a lake on the left and rugged steep rock faces on the right. Some nice twisted also. The nice ride was short lived. Hwy 11 soon became mostly straight with not much to see on either side other then trees. I suppose we where fortunate with the weather, it was very cold (it felt like a late fall day) and looked like it could rain at any time but it didn't. Fortunately i brought our heating blanket so the bed in the tent trailer is toastee warm. We are staying at a huge camp ground called Twin Lakes. What an amazing place. There are walkways around the three lakes with bridges and causeways. Spectacular retaining walls also. Lots if money in landscaping here but it looks great. 10. I am just learning to use it from a couple of days ago on an iPhone. It is very user friendly and much easier to post picture. I am happy with it on my phone
11. In Batchawana Bay. Looking out into Lake Superior. What a great view. BBQ'd some shrimp and salmon after we set up camp. Does life get any better
12. Some pics of today. Gravel road for approx 14kms which was partially covered with water in one spot. At Bridal falls Under/behind the falls At the light house 78227
13. KarlS, thanks for the tip. We are leaving early tomorrow morning. If it is open we will stop in. We are leaving the island that way Angry Amish, yes we are towing a leisure lite trailer. We rode around Manitoulin Island today for 10 hours. Saw Bridal falls, Mississaugi light house near Meldrum Bay. Had a great lunch at Stop 540. The owner, cook and waitress was a spry 80 year young lady. The food and homemade pies where outstanding. She has sold the business and turning it over in August. She thinks its about time to slow down. Anyone in the area wanting some great food at really good prices better get there before she turns it over.
14. In case you haven't seen the other thread on the Venture bike we saw
15. On the ferry crossing to Manitoulin Island

17. A good question. I was wondering that also, but the place was closed. On other post here though it sounds like it does work.
18. Sun set in Port Elgin on Lake Huron
19. Thank you Don. That worked great. Very easy. I already made a post and added some pics of a one of a kind venture bike that we saw today.
20. Thanks Charlie. I kept at the bike and air wings and got them installed. Wow what a difference. Huge air flow that we never got before. I will make a post about them and let Southbound know how good they worked for us.

22. Dave that was Bernie waving, but we didnt Know it was you. Too bad we would have stopped. We had difficulty getting a camp site, we had to go to 3 camp grounds before we found a spot. They took pitty on us and let us stay on an empty permanent site. Sleeping with the big trailers tonight in Port Elgin Tomorrow we catch the 3:45 ferry to Manitoulin
23. Hello all. I just downloaded tapatalk as it became free. I thought it would make posting easier on our trip especially adding photos from my iPhone. I can't see how you start a new thread while in tapatalk. I can read post and push a reply, but not start my own. (That I have found anyways) Any tips or suggestion?
24. Our trip didn't start as planned. We left Saturday June 29th and where suppose to go in a hot air ballon ride, but the weather didn't allow this to happen. Spent the night in Ipperwash on Lake Huron and rode thru many nice small towns. Today we are riding every road we can find along Lake Huron to Southampton and look for a camp site there. Eventually riding to Thunderbay then east to Ottawa to finish with a white water adventure.
25. Hello all, I have just downloaded Tapatalk app to my iPhone for our two week ride, thinking it would be easier to view and post, especially photos. I just tried to post before we are leaving today and I can't figure out how you start your own post thread. Can anyone tell me what I am not seeing in the app? I'll check in tonight when we get to our destination. Thanks Dave
