Thanks Steve. He did take over my Virago when I bought the Venture, but it was a lower bike and he is a little shorter then I am so he doesn't get his feet flat on the ground while on the Venture
My son is looking to get new front and rear brake pads and thought it would be better to have the saddle bags off while taking to a motorcycle mechanic so they don't get damaged at the shop.
What are your thoughts or opinions on a short ride without the saddlebags? The guard rails will still be on.
It is with mixed emotions that I passed my motor bike on to my son today. Like me, he is not a wrench so I am encouraging him to join VR, for knowledge and camaraderie.
Don, I was sorry to read this post, but glad the cancer did not move to your good eye. I hope all went as well as it good for the treatments.
Prayers will be sent for you and Eileen. God Bless
Welcome back Puc. I enjoyed watching some of your YouTube videos of you and your wife riding those nice EBikes.
Glad to see and hear you are as happy as ever. Only way to be in life. As it is said, life is primarily for Living, Laughing and Loving.
Welcome back Reiny. Great to read that you are back and with new body parts that will allow you to be more active and enjoy life.
I have been very negligent since COVID, logging onto the site. In fact I have hardly ridden my bike as well. Im am struggling with the decision to sell my bike since I'm not riding it much.
Great to hear that you are in better shape and health then you thought you would be.
Yes, Bob was a gem of a man. I feel lucky that I had met him and became friends with him. My thoughts and prayers still go out to Becky and hoping she is at peace and living an active life.
We can’t be there and know we will miss out on a really enjoyable time, but last night in BongoBob’s honour we had a toast and Hot Sex.
All previous attendees will know what this is about.
That is terrific Don. Nice to hear that Eileen was able to get out and enjoy some time with you on the bike.
I'm now toying with the idea as you did last year and selling my bike. Very little riding last summer and this year have been home all summer and still very little riding. I'll have to mull it over and then see what it might be worth to list it.
Keep the rubber side down as they say and keep smiling.
