  1. Thanks David. Let me fire up my compressor this week. It should be good but I haven't run it this year yet...

  3. The legs will be a great help Dave! Thanks!
  4. 17 days to go! Thought I would mention a couple things we could use. I have a lift but no adapter. So an adapter and an additional lift would be good. I think the tire hanger is covered by Thom, he thinks he can get the bike and the tire changer on the same trailer... Extra chairs would also be welcomed. Anything else you all can think of??

    Spot Gps

As an alternative... There is an application for the iPhone called IBCNU. It may be available for other phones. It costs $1.99. It is based on the ham radio APRS system. It uses the phone's data connection to post your position on the map based on it's gps location. You can set the position update rate based on distance or time. Here is their website. I used this most recently during the MS150 bicycle race. My wife was able to check my location on her computer or phone web browser anytime. It performed very well. I kept the phone in my pocket or in the tank bag. I plan to use this system while on my up coming 4200 mile solo road trip. Just a suggestion...
  6. I will use a plug to get me from 'flat tire' to point B. I will not run one for long. I have a plug in my new E3 front tire now with about 800 miles. I will change it at my MD in a couple weeks before I start out on a 4200 mile road trip. I have had a front tire go flat at highway speeds. It was a most terrifying experience. A $150 bucks is cheap insurance. Just my 2 cents. Your mileage may vary.

  14. Thanks Thom, that will be a great help! Oh and about hauling the 2nd gen, it's good to make the best of those 'once in a life time' chances...

  16. This is my preferred method. Thunderware Of course I don't have a beer belly to get in the way... I'm just sayin'....
  17. Thanks Earl.. I know some folks do not like the change. Thought I would give it a try any who...
  18. I do not have a tire changer. It looks like we could have several tires to change. If Kreg is agreeable, I could pick his up and have it available. Heck, I could just empty his garage of anything useful!
  19. Who has a Vmax rear end ready with speedo fitting for a 2nd gen available?
  20. The link does not work...
  21. From the web site: INDICATIONS: The Tac-Pack® is intended for the emergency treatment of open or bleeding wounds, gunshot wounds, stab wounds, explosive trauma, and certain smoke & dust conditions. Sounds like it should be standard issue for a 1st Gen... I'm just sayin'...
  22. Rain or not... you're puttin' the miles on! Way to go Dave!
  23. You're looking because it's BLUE!
  24. I don't have one or I would send it to ya... if you make it here for my MD I will fix it for you!
  25. Some folks here have installed 'leveling links' to help with the slow speed handling. This might be an option for you because they raise the back somewhat. I don't know if the Baron's kit causes any issues with installing them. Do a search here for them.
