An update about the ordered horn. It is exactly what I was expecting. The real Stebel, made in Italy. the price is fair and shipping was good. I will try to install soon and will put up another update and maybe a video to represent the difference in the sound. Can not do it this week end. I have to work on building some Flag Mounts this week end. Fuzzy

Got a FLAT need help!
FuzzyRSTD replied to cabreco's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=515 Avon Venom tires always. Get them at Dennis Kirks for the best price with shipping. All the information you need is in the Tech Libraries here for all the work you need to do while the rear wheel is removed. Grease the gear splines and fingers in the wheel rubber for sure, and drive shaft splines. Fuzzy :thumbsup2: -
Thanks everyone for all your help. I appreciate the web site and everyone involved here in the Venture Riders family. I found a Stebel Nautilus dual air horn made in Italy, for $ 67.00 including USPS Priority Shipping. The best buy I could find for the real Stebel, after extensive researching. http://www.twistedthrottle.com/stebel-nautilus-compact-dual-tone-motorcycle-air-horn-12-volt-139-db-black-or-chrome Fuzzy

I need BIGGER mirrors ?????
FuzzyRSTD replied to FuzzyRSTD's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Thanks Rick. I already ordered the E-bay Emgo Big mirrors. Wonder just how much bigger the Honda Valkyrie mirrors are compared to the stock Yamaha ? They look really nice. Thanks for the information Sir. Fuzzy -
I need BIGGER mirrors ?????
FuzzyRSTD replied to FuzzyRSTD's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Nooooo problem Miles. Thank you kind Sir for your help anyway. -
I found these, but do you all know of another mirror manufacture, or something better. I do want big mirrors, but not really expensive either. I absolutely am tired of the small OEM mirrors, with added blind spotters which I put on. I found these, does anyone else have them ? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-Royal-Star-XVZ-1300-Venture-Tour-Deluxe-Chrome-BIG-MIRRORS-left-right-/271147506266?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item3f21a69a5a Regards and Thanks, Fuzzy

FuzzyRSTD replied to MidlifeVenture's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Hope this helps MidlifeVenture. I did this to help others when changing brakes and comparing the new shoes to the old. http://venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=61475 Fuzzy :thumbsup2: -
Amen to that Marcarl. I am glad I do not confess to what I am not. So many are so confused and mislead today. How true my friend, to know you are truly forgiven. What a blessing it is. Not to mention all the benefits along the way. My 23 old daughter was saved 3 months ago. Made such a change in her life. God Bless You my friend. Fuzzy

Happy New Year to all my Venture Rider friends and family. May God bless you and watch over you all as we ride into the new year that God has given us. I ‘m A Christian When I say I am a Christian I am not shouting that I have a perfect life; I'm whispering I was lost but now I'm found and forgiven. When I say I am a Christian, I don't speak of this with pride. I am confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide. I'm not trying to be strong; I'm professing that I'm weak, and need His strength to carry on. When I say I am a Christian, I'm not bragging of success; I'm admitting that I have failed, and need God to help me with my mess. I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible; but God has shown me He believes I am worth it. I still feel the sting of pain. Lord knows I have had my share of heartaches; more than some can imagine; but I always call upon His name. When I say I am a Christian, I'm not holier than thou; I'm just a simple sinner man who receives God's good grace; somehow! When I say that I am a Christian, I'm not perfect to any extent; I'm a sinner saved by grace, and happy that I can repent. James D. Fultz ( Fuzzy )

Anyone have any good ideas, or something in mind ? Myself and friend JD Holbrooks are looking forward to our Spring ride we are trying to plan. Coming from Morehead,KY South West toward Arkansas. We want to see the Ozark Mountains and Arkansas. Planning on a week to ride, leaving Saturday,May 18 to be back on Saturday,May 24. We usually take the hammer roads (interstates) until we reach the main destination, then back roads and enjoy the scenery for as long as possible. Wonder what the weather will be like during May in the mountains there ? Looks like I-64 to Lexington then Bluegrass PK Way to I-65 to I-40 west then over into Arkansas ? I suppose that would be a good start to see the mountains ? We never plan on to much, other than the first night stay and kinda go from there. If you have any links or roads and maps, please feel free to post or send them. I would appreciate any and all help. Happy New Year, Fuzzy :usa:

Warning, this may bring tears to your eyes and bring joy to your Patriotic heart. It sure did for me. Read on please and share. Fuzzy :usa: Christmas Poem TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, HE LIVED ALL ALONE, IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE MADE OF PLASTER AND STONE. I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE, AND TO SEE JUST WHO IN THIS HOME DID LIVE. I LOOKED ALL ABOUT, A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE, NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS, NOT EVEN A TREE. NO STOCKING BY MANTLE, JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND, ON THE WALL HUNG PICTURES OF FAR DISTANT LANDS. WITH MEDALS AND BADGES, AWARDS OF ALL KINDS, A SOBER THOUGHT CAME THROUGH MY MIND. FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT, IT WAS DARK AND DREARY, I FOUND THE HOME OF A SOLDIER, ONCE I COULD SEE CLEARLY. THE SOLDIER LAY SLEEPING, SILENT, ALONE, CURLED UP ON THE FLOOR IN THIS ONE BEDROOM HOME. THE FACE WAS SO GENTLE, THE ROOM IN SUCH DISORDER, NOT HOW I PICTURED A UNITED STATES SOLDIER. WAS THIS THE HERO OF WHOM I'D JUST READ? CURLED UP ON A PONCHO, THE FLOOR FOR A BED? I REALIZED THE FAMILIES THAT I SAW THIS NIGHT, OWED THEIR LIVES TO THESE SOLDIERS WHO WERE WILLING TO FIGHT. SOON ROUND THE WORLD, THE CHILDREN WOULD PLAY, AND GROWNUPS WOULD CELEBRATE A BRIGHT CHRISTMAS DAY. THEY ALL ENJOYED FREEDOM EACH MONTH OF THE YEAR, BECAUSE OF THE SOLDIERS, LIKE THIS ONE LYING HERE. I COULDN'T HELP WONDER HOW MANY LAY ALONE, ON A COLD CHRISTMAS EVE IN A LAND FAR FROM HOME. THE VERY THOUGHT BROUGHT A TEAR TO MY EYE, I DROPPED TO MY KNEES AND STARTED TO CRY. THE SOLDIER AWAKENED AND I HEARD A ROUGH VOICE, "SANTA DON'T CRY, THIS LIFE IS MY CHOICE; I FIGHT FOR FREEDOM, I DON'T ASK FOR MORE, MY LIFE IS MY GOD, MY COUNTRY, MY CORPS." THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER AND DRIFTED TO SLEEP, I COULDN'T CONTROL IT, I CONTINUED TO WEEP. I KEPT WATCH FOR HOURS, SO SILENT AND STILL AND WE BOTH SHIVERED FROM THE COLD NIGHT'S CHILL. I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE ON THAT COLD, DARK, NIGHT, THIS GUARDIAN OF HONOR SO WILLING TO FIGHT. THEN THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER, WITH A VOICE SOFT AND PURE, WHISPERED, "CARRY ON SANTA, IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY, ALL IS SECURE." ONE LOOK AT MY WATCH, AND I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT. "MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND, AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT." This poem was written by a Marine. The following is his request. I think it is reasonable..... PLEASE. Would you do me the kind favor of sending this to as many people as you can? Christmas will be coming soon and some credit is due to our U.S. service men and women for our being able to celebrate these festivities.
