  1. Just wondering if anyone has done a good comparison on the two additives ? The B-12 Chemtool is much less in price, $2.89 at Wally World compared to $9.50 for the Sea Foam. I love the Sea Foam and know that it works wonderfully and is safe for the engine. But what about this cheaper stuff. I have read a little about it, and seems that it has been around for some time now, 1918 company begin. I would go for it, but worried that it would harm a motorcycle engine. Would love to hear what you all think and your experience with the B-12 Chemtool in motorcycle engines, good or bad ? Fuzzy
  2. Aussie, are you and Al riding ? Or was that big mobile home I saw at Freebirds yours ? Sorry, I did not get to see what you all came in on or in. Just wondering. Sounds like your having a great time, and welcome, from the Bluegrass State of Kentucky, my home sweet home. Have you any pictures to share ? Fuzzy
  3. I agree Marcarl 100% with all you said. Especially the left and right tracks when on a two/three lane same direction. I have preached this to all who have road with me when I see them on the wrong side. Your just more visible that way. I have also seen some riding two up on a two lane divided and riding on the right track. So wrong, the traffic behind that first vehicle does not even know you are there. I think maybe they are so afraid of the oncoming traffic, that they go to the right track.I wished that everyone would follow your advise on all this. THANK YOU..... Fuzzy
  4. In case some one is interested, I found the tire changer that was at Freebirds on E-bay. Here is the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-MOTORCYCLE-TIRE-CHANGER-BEAD-BREAKER-TOOL-WHEEL-/220756038628?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item336615d3e4
  5. Well what a nice idea. Sounds like you all had a great ride. One of my dreams, yet to come true, is to ride into Canada. What kind of paper work and money has to be taken care of to cross the border from USA ? Fuzzy
  6. Interesting .......... Like you, more per gallon is a good thing. As long as it does not promote some other type damage or long range harm. Would like to hear V7Goose opinion on this. Fuzzy
  7. Sorry I am late getting around to this. Thank you all very much. The funeral went very well and the family is doing fine. Every thing was just exactly as Bill would have wanted it. God has helped us through your prayers and his grace. PS; I stayed with Bill's son, Jerry (whom is like my brother) while up to Ohio for Freebirds MD. It was good and comforting for both us to be together and talk. Not the same with out Bill, but life must go on. Thanks again... Fuzzy
  8. No problem my friend, and thank you. I wanted to ask you about your trailer. Did you build it and add the extra storage area ? Fuzzy
  9. Hello Aussie and Al. Well I was going to let you know that I live near I-64, east side at around the 145 mile marker. Was going to tell you to blow your horn as you pass. But I realize you will be going down I-75 south. I live about a half mile from the interstate. Wanted to say that it was nice meeting you all at Freebirds and to say a special thanks again for the time, effort, and money you spent on the badges. I will always keep this. Be safe and God's speed to you and Al. PS; Thanks for the Australian hanker-chef/bandanna that I won in the drawing. I used it on my ride back from Freebirds to Mansfield that evening. It was so hot and I left my sunscreen in my bike bag in Mansfield. So I dipped the hanker-chef in my melted ice cooler water and rapped around my neck covering the back of my neck to help keep from getting burned. Worked great, and kept me cool. Fuzzy
  10. Thanks Squidley, I did not know that it was a regular tire changer. Thought it was made just for bike tires. I have changed my own and used some tire tools from JC Whitney. They worked OK but took a lot longer. That tire changer was sweet. You know that if you ride much, you are going to be changing tires. So far about 8,000 on the Avon Venoms and still some to go. Same here, nice meeting you Squidley. Fuzzy
  11. Great, I agree. With respect.... Fuzzy
  12. How true this is my friend. I have a great respect for the older generation. I do not stand for people putting them down. I am 47 and some of those things I do remember. We drew our drinking water from the well, and lived once in a rented house and carried our drinking water from way over the hill from a spring. My Grandma Hall and I would tote butter and eggs and walk to Olive Hill to sell it to Stampers Food store. The butter we churned from the milk from the cows. I have churned a many of a churn of butter. I gathered the eggs from the chicken house. I slopped the hogs that we would later kill and dress and put in the smoke house and in the freezer. I would shoot them between the eyes or behind the hear. Only squealed one hog that I remember. People would want me to come and bring my little 22 rifle and shoot their hog for them. We would scrape the hog after putting midland sacks in boiling water and laying them on the dead hog hide. This would release the hair. I would squirrel hunt with that same 22 rifle and a old Ivory Johnson 16 gauge shotgun. We ate a lot of squirrel and rabbit. I still eat squirrel and rabbit and wild turkey and deer venison. I love to hunt with my bow. So please do not ever ask me about the "green thing". I am going to quit rambling on now... Fuzzy And old Hillbilly, and I am sure proud of it.
  13. Just wanted to make sure those whom need to saw this. Thanks everyone. I tried to look up that tire changer that was at Freebird's MD. No luck so far. It worked so well, and was so simply made. Harbor Freight site does not show them any more. Fuzzy
  14. My wife was thinking of a cat eating a tangerine in Quebec. Fuzzy
  15. Happy Birthday Mini..... :cool10::cool10:
  16. Glad you and your special wife made it home safely Goose. Thanks for all you do and all the good information. Love that Sea Foam. Man, 1000 miles Goose. Shewwww we, you make me feel like a wimp. Four/Five hundred mile is a good day for me. Fuzzy
  17. Yep, what Slickster says... Take the battery down to Advance and have it tested. Fuzzy
  18. Thanks Chad & Kyle. Fuzzy
  19. Now that is a thought. I have always thought that the zipper type would be neat when removing and putting back on. My friend JD has a pair with zipper and he likes his, they are HD brand. Fuzzy
  20. I have to say that mine are not all that comfortable. I think they are one of the cheaper grades, but still they are not that great for comfort. Fuzzy
  21. Nice air lift Micarl. Fuzzy
  22. Thanks, I already thought that I might drill a few extra points of tie down. Fuzzy
  23. Thanks MiCarl, good points you made. I can tell you have been to school on this. I will try very carefully to walk the bike up next time. My concrete garage floor is purposely sloping downward slightly from the center to the doors. So it is level in the rear of the garage. Maybe next time I will put the lift the opposite way so that the momentum will be in my favor.
  24. Who was that toting that humongous torque wrench around at Freebirds. It was so funny. Somebody surely has a picture of it. Fuzzy
