Very good movie. I liked it a lot, neat movie. I did not see it being hilarious though, I don,t get that. Now the car show with David Hasselhof called "Night Rider", that show was rather funny sometimes. The car was called Kit. Never saw the Wraith movie though, or heard of it. Fuzzy

Thanks Flyingfool, my parents forget that a lot....... Work........No thanks ...... I'd rather be hunting or riding or riding and or hunting. Shucks I think I will just paint my bike camo and get me a trailer painted camo and haul my hunting gear around and visit all that are on this site and hunt in their state and enjoy my life forever or until I run out of money. Bad idea, no money and I have to go back to work Monday morning ...... Naaaa, I am blessed and really am glad to be able to work and take care of my family. I still think that was a good idea though, camo RSTD with matching trailer. Storage on top for bow cases and tents....mmmmmmmmm Fuzzy

My wife is feeling better today, and thank God for that. So she fixed up a great supper this evening, and I wanted to share it with you all, the only way I know how. Remember those squirrels ? I like them fried with a thick crust, and fried taters and beans and a slab of cornbread fresh out of the old iron skillet. Are you hungry yet ? Sorry you could not join me. :whistling:

Wow, what a very close call. Thank God no one got killed. I too was thinking about the new larger single tires the trucks are running now. Pre-Trip inspection is very important. We check our trucks at work every time we get in them (Ky State Hwy Dept.). Still things happen. We should alwys check these bikes as well, before any long trips or just the short ones. I found this out just last week. I felt my bike was feeling kinda weird. So I started with the air and went on to other things. I checked the tires and saw no real worries. I rode it some more, to work. Still weird. I ask the guys at work to help me check my tires as I rolled it forward at work. Well the rear tire had two very worn spots in the middle, to the threads. I made it home and parked it for good until I get able and willing to order and change my tires. Avon Venoms with around 12,000 miles on them. I did not realize I had that many miles on those tires. Pre- Trip Inspection ........ Fuzzy

Well, glad she loves it. Hope you get another new one. This guy was probably getting drunk after thinking over all his problems to come now. Little does he know that the next morning his problems will even be worse. I hope he does not go long enough to kill some family. KarlS, this would be a good insurance company. What was the name ? I have found out that the company is only as good as the people running the business. They can help you or cause you more problems. I have State Farm and switched agents to get better service. The best move I ever made. Regards, Fuzzy

Nice job. Thanks for the information and welcome to the site that is shared by many, loved by just as many and more, and used by thousands upon thousands for useful information and do it yourself mods and fixes. It is the Venture way. I checked out your site for your leather goods. Nice site and easy to use. Love the information you provide for so many. I really liked the seat modification site you posted. I saved it to my favorites and possibly plan on trying an extra mod to my seat, rather than spend $800.00 for the Ultimate seat set. A possible winter project for me. Regards, Fuzzy

Good to be hearing from you again Frogman. I have not saw any post from you in a while. Wow, and I sometimes think I have had a bad day. Please forgive me for thinking this, for you have been having a hard time. Hope your wife gets to feeling better and back to work soon. A brand new SUV, sickening feeling. I finally bought a new to us 2009 Toyota Rav4 with 25,000 miles on it. Back in March this year I think. I kept thinking very time the vehicle left the drive way that it would not return in one piece. So many ignorant drivers now a days. Why in the world would someone be driving a new Silverado with no insurance ? Hope all goes better for you and yours. What type Suv ? Regards, Fuzzy

wiring a trailer to bike
FuzzyRSTD replied to rondeputy's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Thanks for this post. I myself have been educated here. I have been wondering about this, since I have a wish list for the future that might include a possible trailer. Some trailers that I have looked at where four and some five. Now I know that you could pull either, but probably be better off with the five wire set up. Is this converter a plug and go set up ? Or a wire in deal ? For those few of us whom do not know please. If the wiring is not simple, then it is beyond my doing it. I do not care to do anything to my bike, except, mess with the wiring. I did wire in a set of speakers and booster on my RSTD for music. I do not like this type work. If I ever have my bike wired for a trailer, then I will get one of these fine experts on this site to do it if possible. Fuzzy -
Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Sounds good captainjoe, but I am a little confused. So then you are making what we call dumplings I think ? Close to potpie any how. I believe you have cooked a few meals from what you have said here. My wife says I should take lessons and do the same. Fuzzy

I've had this happen in a car, but first time on a bike.
FuzzyRSTD replied to jrsain's topic in Watering Hole
My problem is they are so small. Now with my age and eyesight, I would feel better with a larger mirror. I to have used these small convex mirrors on all my vehicles. Now I need the bigger ones on those too. I bought a package of four and put two on the bike and two on the Toyota Rav4. I am going to replace the ones on the Toyota. I believe that they are making them smaller now a days. fuzzy -

Wow, glad you where not injured. I have noticed this with these stock mirrors on our bikes. I have adjusted mine in every way. I tried putting the small black trimmed blind spot mirrors on, well they do not work either. So now I am looking at a big set of mirrors on e-bay for around $36.00 . They are advertised for our bikes and say that you can really see very well from them. Fuzzy -
Neat video E-Fishing-C. Thanks for posting it. Fuzzy

Decided to do a little turkey and squirrel hunting with my bow this morning, since it was raining earlier. I turkey hunted yesterday evening and saw several squirrels, so I decided to take a judo point for small game this time. I came home with 4 squirrels, no misses and one was a head shot. Did not see any turkey. I was hunting from a blind and turkey calling every now and then. So maybe squirrel for supper and a little gravy and biscuits. " problem 1- cant get it on stand by myself and iam a big guy." Cut yourself a 9 1/4 inch long piece of 2x4 and keep it in the saddle bag. Put the said 2x4 under your rear tire and pull the bike onto the 2x4. Then get a very good hold on the handle bar and the rear bag guard. Pull the bike as you put pressure on the stand. Make sure the center stand is firm on both legs onto the ground, you can feel this, then heaf ho. You also can use this same said piece of 2x4 to prop up (on the frame) the bikes front wheel off the ground while you clean it or repair a tire leak to get you home. This is the purpose of the 9 1/4 inch length. I also carry a small DC type plug in air compressor in my saddle bag and also a tire repair plug kit. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=59721 Fuzzy

Good for you.... My brother finds all kinda deals like that all the time. I get so frustrated at him. He told me just yesterday that he was working on some man's appliance and he got to talking to him about hunting. The guy offered to give him an API climbing tree stand and a ladder stand. My brother said he declined and gave him 10 bucks for both. The climber was worth at least a hundred bucks. Your wife looks very pleased........ Fuzzy
