Need Prayers for Ponch!!!
FuzzyRSTD replied to Sweetnothing's topic in Inspirational, Motivational, Prayer Requests, Etc.
Thanks for the update Sqidley. Thanks to the Lord that David is doing so much better. As I read your post I could just see his face and yours with tears. Someone posted about true friendship, this is true friendship. Fuzzy -
:sign yeah that: Thanks Larry. Some I kinda can figure out, but some are plum off the wall unless you see a lot I guess. But not for me either. Fuzzy

Ya, but that is common abbreviations I learn in school. This other stuff is like learning a new language. Wow, did you see how large that list was you sent. Thanks any way.. ..... Fuzzy
-
Freenird, either you are just being funny, or I did not get the download or abbreviations book.Ooops I mean Freebird. :rotf: That was a legit typo, sorry. Fuzzy

That is what I do Larry. It takes me so long sometimes to type a few lines or say what I mean and make it understandable. I sometimes worry about the editing I do, which might be several times to get it right. Glad Silvrt started this thread. Sometimes I need an abbreviation book to make out what some are saying. If anyone has one, it would be helpful. Or just spell out what you want to say and stop being so lazy about it. This is what I mean--- BTW ---- I ask my daughter what in the world this stood for. She said that is --- BY THE WAY --- I am not a texter and think it is the most annoying thing ever invented and kills a lot of people. Why not just call them ???? Just today I followed a guy in a Ford Ranger on HWY US 60 and he nearly caused an accident twice before we got to the interstate and I could go around him to get away from him. Just as I went by, I looked over at him, he was turned side ways in his seat and was texting. I told my wife earlier that he must be drunk. But anyway back to the so called abbreviations that I did not learn in school. Please help me out here people. :confused24: :confused24: :confused24: Oh ya, I am glad there is SPELL CHECK...I mean SC....No that is South Carolina. Fuzzy

Thanks Rick, good information. Thanks Freebird. I know I need to practice this, and I will. I have the results implanted on my rear tire from two instances that I had to really get it stoped, and most of which was done with the rear tire squalling down the black top, partially side ways, hardly no front brake applied. I am going to have to work on that. I am not a speed freak, this was at motorcycle normal speeds. The rear tire has two, to the threads 3 " long worn spots. I know this is what caused these places in my tire. I am going to take this advice and use it. Thanks again, Fuzzy PS; I feel the same about quoting Opra.

The weather here in the central part of your trip (Ky) close to Morehead,Ky, will be, according to the local weather, cold and wet up until Saturday. My wife and I just finished cleaning the flue and also cleaning the pellet stove and getting it ready to be turned on and get the heat a rolling by tomorrow evening. Full of wood pellets. All I have to do is flip the switch. So far I have used the heat pump and propane gas some, very little. We have had two frosty mornings so far this month. Hope you have a good safe trip. If you get cold and need to get warmed up, just come on over. I get home from work around 5:00 pm. I live just off US 60 East of Olive Hill. I can hear I-64 from house. Fuzzy

Big G, he is not saying side by side (a breast). You can see this in the top quote. Just wanted to clear that up. I agree, you should not ride, side by side, in a turning intersection. However I have rode side by side down a wide 2 lane with a full size turning lane in the middle with 35 and 45 mile speed zone. Still our intersection turns are made as individual bikes. Giving the rider ahead the time and room he needs. Fuzzy

Replacing seat with harley seat
FuzzyRSTD replied to muaymendez1's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Thanks Stache. Sorry I have not been back to this thread in a few days. JoeRanger on the site here has one of the Ultimate Seats and likes it very well. Fuzzy -
I have been wondering about the Russell All-Day seat or maybe the Ultimate seat. I have even been thinking about redoing the stock myself, per a good article I read and saved. Maybe adding gell to it. Glad you had a good trip. Fuzzy

I think example #3 is correct. The rider should always old his line and do not cut the other riders off in any way. I say keep your line once moving again, but at a safe distance. If not then always give the rider ahead of you plenty of time to do as he or she can, then move back to your original line once the turn is completed. Never leave your line unless agreed to switch with another rider/bike. Fuzzy

A good debate here. I have somewhat learned a few things. I am not a computer kooroo, and can hardly even type. But I think that the news media always over do the small things in some people's passing/death. Be it a TV celebrity or anyone (Daniel Boone) whom the public has known,or heard about for a while. I believe that Freebird is trying to say that sometimes a lot of credit is given in the wrong direction just to get the promotion of what ever may be had. This is done through these very useful and nice computers and especially the news media, shame on them all. I believe that Tx2sturgis is just wanting to give credit to Steve Jobs for what he has done for a lot of people and make mention of it here. Since no one else had. So thanks Tx2sturgis. I agree with all here to some extent from what I know. I have gotten so sick of hearing so many people/things of life/holidays, being degraded by the news media. I have a hard time watching all the 60 minute news. I mostly like to watch the weather, and they even make a big deal out of the weather sometimes, scaring people for no reason. Other times not enough coverage to even get help to people whom need it. It is according to where you live if you get coverage or help. Some of the poor people in rural Virginia area did not even hardly get any coverage from the earthquake, and some lost all they had worked for all their life with no insurance. Most of my heroes come from the Bible first of all. Then there are the soldiers of war, whom I honor and respect. But people whom have made a difference in my life personally, I will always remember these for sure as heroes. I remember that my uncle Billy helped and showed me how to ride a bicycle. I will never forget that. My Dad took me squirrel hunting for the first time and I had a little Daisy BB gun. A lot of these media people whom I have not or probably will never meet, do not mean that much to me. Ya, a lot of folks have donated a lot to all from their life, and I am grateful for that. Thanks to Steve Jobs for what he did. Theodore Roosevelt for what he did. Daniel Boone, for what he did. Bill Gates for what he has done. John Wayne for what he did. Clint Eastwood for what he has done. Some things in life now a days are given to much credit in the media, others that are really important to many, and should be to all, is not even given the time of day. Regards to all, Fuzzy

OH No. Like tx2sturgis, I hate to see a man kicked after he has already passed. And especially by this bunch of Misdirected Hypocritical Bunch of Rejects. This is nothing more than a media eye move by them, and they will get it. Of all the things that I have ever heard of in my 33 yrs of trying to live for the Lord and doing a not so good job of it, but trying. This has to be the most ignorant thing that I have ever actually seen/witnessed, done by the Human race. Aggravated, Fuzzy PS;Yes, Christians get aggravated to, what makes the difference is what I do about it.

Need your prayers please !!
FuzzyRSTD replied to davecb's topic in Inspirational, Motivational, Prayer Requests, Etc.
Just checking for updates. Still praying for the little one. May God bless you and your family. Regards, Fuzzy -
Thanks, I may try to arrange a ride that way next year.
-
Wow, now that was neat. Man I am going to have to check that out sometime. How much does it cost to get in Fib_78 ? I have heard of this for many yrs. Fuzzy
-
Now wait a minute Venturous. I have read this thread again and now believe that you are talking about taking someone by the nick name of Eye, for a ride. I thought that you really was just taking about your eye/ball for a ride. So please, which is it ? Please forgive me if I do not know Eye.... Fuzzy

Well maybe someone from the Florida area could even take your bikes in for care for a week until you get there. Sounds really nice. Hope it all works out for you. Eat some alligator before you leave Florida. And the shrimp down that way is usually really good and fresh. If you want to ship your bikes to me here in Kentucky. I will arrange things at a local place for unloading and store the bikes in my garage until you get here. I used to work in the transportation/shipping/receiving department for two local business. I was a shipping/receiving manager. Just put the keys in the bikes somewhere and I will find them. I will drive the 1 1/2 hour to come pick you up at the airport in Lexington,Ky. Or would be closer to fly into the new airport at Morehead,Ky only 20 minutes from me. You could spend the night in a local hotel in Morehead,Ky, I will also get the phone numbers for you. Or you can bring along tents and camp out in my very large back yard. That goes for anyone whom would like to do this. Such a good idea, but I would say that would be very expensive to ship a bike. Just wondering, do have to put the bikes in a crate ? Fuzzy PS; Remember that my bike is parked in the garage awaiting tires. So to say that your bikes would maybe have a fair chance of having a few extra mile on them would be correct. :whistling:
