  1. Merry Christmas To All ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Are you ready for Christmas?” “Ready for Christmas,” she said with a sigh As she gave a last touch to the gifts piled high… Then wearily sat for a moment and read, Til soon, very soon, she was nodding her head. Then quietly spoke a voice in her dream, “Ready for Christmas, what do you mean?” She woke with a start and a cry of despair. “There’s so little time and I’ve still to prepare. Oh, Father! Forgive me, I see what You mean! To be ready means more than a house swept clean. Yes, more than the giving of gifts and a tree. It’s the heart swept clean that He wanted to see, A heart that is free from bitterness and sin.” So be ready for Christmas - and ready for Him.
  2. Thank you ..... very good information for all.
  3. Wow, now that would be better than Re-Jex, which was also manufactured to be used on airplanes. I like the Re-jex, but would like some of this. If it comes out soon, let us know SilverT.
  4. Thanks Mel, I get those Sate worker jokes a lot. But I heard that joke another way. I heard it was two Hoosiers. And yes that goat needed a chain around his neck and tied to a transmission, installed in a Nascar.

  6. Very nice. I have saw and heard this several times now. Beautiful and how true. I am glad you shared this. I am glad to see that it is very popular among others as well. I have a new outlook on people of the world now, there is, as we know, hope in Jesus Christ. I want to be in the line to see Jesus..... Merry Christmas to all..l. Fuzzy
  7. Build a house. I have tried the others. They are built better nowadays, but for the money. Build yourself a home. I do not know anything about modular homes. http://homebuying.about.com/cs/modulareducation/a/modularhomes.htm We built a house and we are very pleased with our decision. I was 40 years old at the time and another one on the way, we now have two children. Our daughter is 22, and our son is 7 years old. I am now 47 years old. We moved in on November 1 st 2004 , and my son was born on November 30 th 2004. Worried for a while, a lot of decisions, changes here and there, debt, but worth it all. I went with wood siding, to much up keep/staining. Then after 5 years, covered it over with vinyl siding. Go with 2x6 outside walls, just a very little more money, but worth it. Very warm and or cool. Build you a garage while your at it. You will not be disappointed with a garage to park your vehicles and bikes in. I am sure you know this. I have some very nice/workable/well thought out house plans that I had drawn up. My wife and I spent two years drawing them out on our own. Then we had them drawn out by a very good architect that we go to church with. He said that they where one of the best house plans that he had saw in a while. You are welcome to them. I could mail them to you and you could make copies. This is a common set of drawings, one level home. Not a pricey home. But one for the country folk that works. If interested, you will find my contact information in my profile. James

  10. Freebird I used to have one of the older Motorola Razors. It was one of the best phones I ever had. And a lot of people at work have said the same thing. I now have one of the Tundra Tough flip phones. It broke a spring in the flip mechanism very early when purchased. Not much for video either. The razor was great and I got many good deer videos while hunting. A very good simple reliable phone. I will check out these new Razors you mention. Thanks... http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/XP-EN/Consumer-Products-and-Services/Mobile-Phones/MOTOROLA-RAZR-XP-EN
  11. Always walk up to a down deer with caution, especially a buck. Touch his eye with something to make sure he is dead first. You may not have thought of it, but also if you hit a deer with your automobile, be careful when approaching a wounded or downed animal. I was at work one day (Ky State HWY Dept.). We where spraying the guardrail on the right of way of State Route 67. I was at the time doing the spraying from the passenger side of the ton truck we where in. We would take turns driving half of the work day and then switch to spray half of the work day. We came up on a man that had a saddled horse by the reigns in one hand and a large goat by the horn in the other hand. A big curly sharp horned billy goat.He was going around and around with both, the horse and the goat. My co-worker stopped the truck and I ran over to see what was happening and to help the poor man out. I was talking to him and taking the goat by the horns at the same time. Apparently the goat had went crazy as he passed by a house on his ride. The man tried to out run it and did somewhat. The billy goat had then caught up with him by surprise and was trying to gore his horse in the side and finally did so. The horse was bleeding from it's side. The man had jumped from the horse and gotten the goat by the horn. He was also swearing and cursing how that the family that owned this crazy billy goat was to going to pay for his horse. Well my co-worker had called the State Police and I was trying to hold this crazy goat and keep it from goring me. I had it with both my hands around its very large horns and it was lifting me plum off the ground. :starz:Finally help came and got the goat on a leash and tied him up. I can tell you then from experience, that it would not be to difficult to get gored by a deer with those sharp horns. I KNOW SOME ARE LAUGHING, AND I DO TO, BUT THIS IS THE TRUTH. AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT, WHEN WE WHERE ASKED FOR THE LOCATION, IT WAS AT AT THE INTERSECTION OF ST HWY 67 AND HORN HOLLOW RD.
  12. Sorry to hear this. Condolences to all. May God be with you and give you peace and comfort during these hard times. James
  13. Thanks to everyone. I laughed so hard when I saw this the first time. Sorry Fred, but no more biscuits and gravy for me. Diabetes you know. Lost 10 or more pounds in last 2 weeks. Getting ready to head out to Ohio on my annual bow-hunt for deer up there. I am running late to get started. I waited until the last 2 hrs to wash all hunting clothes and it is taking much longer. I am still waiting on the dryer to finish the last load and I spun it out twice. Just set it for another 20 minutes about ten minutes ago. Now my wife has decided to fix me a couple pieces of fish to eat before leaving. Lucky if I get started before 4:00 o-clock. Four and a half hour drive then unload. Pulling small trailer with four wheeler and all gear inside the Toyota Rav -4 with a four cylinder engine. It gets good gas mileage around here 24-25 mpg. Probably 24 mpg with trailer and all. Will get 26 mpg in flat land Ohio. Has a lot of power for a four cylinder. My first hunting trip in it and it loaded up real well with all my gear. Clothes for a 7 days and all my hunting gear and some food. Stay at my friends place there in Mansfield,Oh. You all please keep an on my family while I am gone. Although she is pretty good with the 12 gauge, I still worry.
  14. I do not know the mileage of your bike. But just in case you did not know. There is a recall of this model. The head bolts where not properly torqued on some and there could be an oil leak. Mine started at around 4,000 - 5,000 mile. That is how I knew. The dealer whom sold the bike new should have checked this before the bike left the shop. They did not on mine and then the head gasket had to be replaced. If it is checked and done early then you will not have this problem. I found out the hard way, as usual. I love mine, although I am going to do the Flanders handle bar upgrade ASAP. Other than that and new Avon Tires, I will be ready for next spring. Thanks for asking the question, I have wondered that also. Fuzzy
  15. Hey, that is my bike. Except for the front fender dress up. I put the finder tips on mine. I like yours a lot. Fuzzy

  17. Howdy neighbor. Nice, I also like that. Is everyone on the wrong side of the road ? Or probably just another country, odd looking dividing line. Fuzzy

  22. Thanks, worked that time. Sorry and thanks too. This time it cleaned out a lot of stuff. I had to sign in again to VentureRider.org. I am now running the defragler that was mentioned.
  23. OK, I will try that again. I think that is where I downloaded the first time. It did a scan and found a lot of stuff, but then wanted me to register it. The cost was ???/ can not remember. Will try again. I went to Program uninstall and got rid of all the first download. Thanks for the help. Trying again.
