  1. I know I sure do. I have watched this particular show several times. A good laugh and good music with some real people, no actors or put ons there. You saw the true characters of these fine gentlemen. And as I said before, Tim Farmer is a fine host and down to earth. You should watch him shoot the bow with his teeth. He is good. He squirrel hunts with his bow to, like I do, but he shoots by pulling the bow back with his teeth. Fuzzy
  2. That was a KY Afield video. Just look up KY Afield and you will see Tim Farmer the host of the show here in KY. The show comes on every week here. Tim Farmer is a neighbor from Grayson, KY. He has a bum right arm and carries it loose to his side with a sock over it always. He injured his arm in a motorcycle accident as he was getting off I-64 East at the off ramp in Grayson. He hit a patch of gravel and lost control and went into the guard rail. Almost completely lost his right arm. He is a nice guy and loves to bowhunt and fish. He shoots a bow with his teeth. You should watch some more of the videos while your at the site. I have a great respect for him and what he has accomplished in his life. He will stand for what is right and I have witnessed this of him. A honest down home proud Hillbilly.... Check him out ...... Click on the shows and watch several of them. You will like them... This show has been on here for quite some time, many many many years. Also the Moron Brothers are really down to earth. Good fun and good music with these fellers. I like them both. Funny, but also with a true heart felt meaning to their songs and music. http://fw.ky.gov/kyafieldtv.asp Fuzzy :thumbsup2:
  3. I thought the same as you. I was totally surprised and thought this is so funny, but so true in so many ways. I loved it and wanted to share with ye all. Fuzzy
  4. Wow, no wonder you have not replied to that message I sent a couple days ago. I figured you had a bunch of them and probably did not even see it. Guess I was right about that, but 300 a day, whoeeeee. Thanks Freebird for taking time out for me. Fuzzy :thumbsup2:
  5. I saw where someone else did this to. I saw it here. You could probably do a search and find it. A good idea. I would say the most costly part of this is getting the trunk in good shape and getting it painted to match your bike. I looked for some time on the net and found a few, but most had some kinda road rash on them or holes or cracks in them. http://venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=45812&highlight=Royal+Star+Tour+Deluxe+Trunk http://venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1596&highlight=Royal+Star+Tour+Deluxe+Trunk Fuzzy
  6. You need to listen to the doctors Captain Wanderer. I have found out the hard way. I have paid with some hefty pain in the shoulder from pushing the limits. I got lucky and will not have to have the surgery again so far. I will tell you what they told me; "If you end up having to have that surgery the second time, you will more than likely surely not like it and recovery will be twice as long." So there, make up your mind my friend. I hope you have not hurt yourself. Take care and please listen to the docs and the wife, they always know best for you. Fuzzy
  7. Thanks Scooter Bob. I looked for quite sometime, if it had been a snake, I would have gotten bit. Fuzzy
  8. Thanks Freebird. I never realized just how many e-mails or messages you probably get in a day or so from the site here. Just guessing I will say 20 - 30 a day. Thanks Freebird, and as I already said in my message reply earlier. I am honored and the True Patriots are those whom we stand for. Fuzzy :thumbsup2:
  9. Glad to hear all was well after the crash. Always good news in these situations. Wonder if it was the tire and what brand ? Did it look as if something had actually cut the rear tire, or was it a tire failure ? Just really glad it was not a really serious accident. I said," Oh No" when I saw the thread. Hope him the best recovery. James (Fuzzy)
  10. Prayers for you and yours my friend. I wished you lived closer, I need my yard mowed right now. I am not able until next week. My doc said maybe next week if all goes well with the shoulder. Heating pad on right now. I had a good friends son come up and give me a fair price last week $55.00 for my yard and all the trimming. I have a really large yard when you do it all. He runs a small lawn service and does pretty well along with his night job. He is young has a couple other young fellers helping him. They where supposed to call and confirm for today or tomorrow. No call and no show today. I feel like Yammer Dan trying to get a garage built. I hope it don't take that long. If it does, I will have to hire someone to cut timber out of my yard by then. Fuzzy
  11. Sorry to hear this. Hope you the best and please hang in there and holler if you need me for anything. I know how it is sometimes. I had surgery on my shoulder 3 weeks ago. Been off work for 12 weeks now. My caring/helpful dear wife has thyroid surgery next Monday and I am not allowed to even drive yet, per docs orders. So I am depending on my family and friends to drive me around, do any heavy lifting, get the yard mowed, and run errins for me and my wife. And to beat it all, my little boy has an appointment to have his left ankle checked at the Shriner's Children Hospital in Lexington KY on the 30th of this month. His ankle is protruding to the inside for some reason. Very noticeable. I am not complaining, just saying we have to be able to look out into the future and sometimes expect such oncoming things in this life, and sometimes we must sacrifice one thing to get something more important for our families and ourselves. So the very best to you and yours Karls. Fuzzy
  12. Nice trailer there Ron. Good work. Keep the pictures and updates coming on the stainless fender. Good job, ride safe. Fuzzy :thumbsup2:
  13. Mmmmmm, so my fine feathered friend Freebird is a magician to ? That makes since. Thank you Boo.... Fuzzy
  14. Wow !!!!!!!!!!! That was something else....Been on a twin engine from Lexington to Louisville. Then a giant jet from Louisville, KY to Roy Rogers airport in Oklahoma. At first scared to death, but once up and relaxed, I loved it. The twin engine dropped a few times in air turbulence that we where warned about and scared me to death. Then the giant four across seat jet was really nice. It set me back in the seat when we took off. I loved being up and in the clouds. Flew back and forth to Oklahoma four different times for on the job training. An experience I have never forgotten and never will. Fuzzy :thumbsup2:
  15. I am a proud member of the Patriot Guard Riders. How do I get the small icon awards thing to show up with/or beside my avatar picture ? I know nothing about the awards program here. I see awards beside some of the members avatars and assume maybe someone takes care of this or nominates someone or something to that affect. Been a member for quite some time now and never did know how that worked or how to nominated or just how it works. I have saw where some have gotten them for helping someone out or dedicating a lot of time to host a gathering. I think I may have nominated Goose one time for helping so many out here. But really can not remember that for sure right now. Fuzzy
  16. If they keep making fun of us proud Hilbillys, then we will have to take further actions and get really serious about what ye-all are saying around yer. You best get off your high horse and come down here with the rest of usins. Elson we can and will get down right aggravated and start using words that only we know. Then you will not like the outcome of a mad Hillbilly. Come on all you Hatfields and McCoys. Lock and load. Thinking of you Goose .................... Fuzzy

  18. Roger that Captain Southern Wanderer. Maybe I can get my two tires changed here in the next couple weeks, maybe, soon as shoulder allows and help comes along. Maybe I should make a phone call or two about that right now. I could probably do the front with my wive's help, maybe. Fuzzy
  19. I also sent them an e-mail, thanking them for their good will and acknowledging that I heard about it on the VentureRider site. jmeaux@redjacketfirearms.com Fuzzy
  20. That is wonderful. I knew I liked that guy, and for sure the show. He is kinda harsh sometimes, but sometimes you got to be. Very good for you all, the best. Hats off to Will and the guys and gals on the show. Fuzzy :thumbsup2:
  21. I just updated my ads to show the bottom side of the Stinger Flagpole Mounts. Giving you a reference to how it keeps the flagpole from coming through the bottom, but also allowing the water to drain and so forth. Thanks for all your interest and phone calls and such. I appreciate it. James (Fuzzy)
  22. Amen ....... :thumbsup2:
  23. What are we using for the baton ? The idea of the pvc pipe was good with a couple good pencils (not ink pen, get hot or something and leak and ruin everything) with sheet for all to sign and the states they get or something like that. A nice spreadsheet made up in Excell or Quattro 9 would be nice. The pvc pipe should be at least an 1" longer than a sheet of paper is wide. So sheet of paper is 8 1/2" wide, so pvc 10" long and probably 1" size pipe with the end caps not glued would really be about right. The 1/2" size pvc I think would be to small to handle and roll the paper up in. Write the south on the outside of it with a permanent marker maybe. Just my thoughts this morning as I sit here with ice pack on my shoulder and awaiting that first cup of mo-jo ..... Fuzzy
  24. A cowboy named Bud was overseeing his herd in a remote mountainous pasture in Montana when suddenly a brand-new BMW advanced toward him out of a cloud of dust. The driver, a young man in a Brioni suit, Gucci shoes, RayBan sunglasses and YSL tie, leaned out the window and asked the cowboy, "If I tell you exactly how many cows and calves you have in your herd, will you give me a calf?" Bud looks at the man, who obviously is a yuppie, then looks at his peacefully grazing herd and calmly answers, "Sure, why not?" The yuppie parks his car, whips out his Dell notebook computer, connects it to his Cingular RAZR V3 cell phone, and surfs to a NASA page on the Internet, where he calls up a GPS satellite to get an exact fix on his location which he then feeds to another NASA satellite that scans the area in an ultra-high-resolution photo. The young man then opens the digital photo in Adobe Photoshop and exports it to an image processing facility in Hamburg , Germany .... Within seconds, he receives an email on his Palm Pilot that the image has been processed and the data stored. He then accesses an MS-SQL database through an ODBC connected Excel spreadsheet with email on his Blackberry and, after a few minutes, receives a response. Finally, he prints out a full-color, 150-page report on his hi-tech, miniaturized HP LaserJet printer, turns to the cowboy and says, "You have exactly 1,586 cows and calves." "That's right. Well, I guess you can take one of my calves," says Bud. He watches the young man select one of the animals and looks on with amusement as the young man stuffs it into the trunk of his car. Then Bud says to the young man, "Hey, if I can tell you exactly what your business is, will you give me back my calf?" The young man thinks about it for a second and then says, "Okay, why not?" "You're a Congressman for the U.S. Government", says Bud. "Wow! That's correct," says the yuppie, "but how did you guess that?" "No guessing required." answered the cowboy. "You showed up here even though nobody called you; you want to get paid for an answer I already knew, to a question I never asked. You used millions of dollars worth of equipment trying to show me how much smarter than me you are; and you don't know a thing about how working people make a living - or about cows, for that matter. This is a herd of sheep. Now give me back my dog". AND THAT FOLKS IS WHAT THE PROBLEM IS ALL ABOUT. Fuzzy
  25. I think it would be good to add the sticky and allow only the north and south team captains access to keep it up to date. The members should message or call their captains to let them know what capitals/states have been done. Everyone would be allowed to look, but only captains should make changes. Another Thread such as this one here, could be left open to all members to post their thoughts and pictures. But again the sticky should be only be accessed by the captains. And team members should only message them through the site or call to reply information and what capitals/states they had achieved. Everyone should be allowed to look at the sticky to make plans and work out their own rides with members through the site and calls to the members. Fuzzy from the South Team .......... Ooh Rahh ...... Lets get rrr done you all.....
