1. I would suspicion the valve and core first. But as already said, check with soapy water to find the culprit first, then go from there. I do not know who changed your tire, but is always a good idea to clean that rim and inspect before putting the new tire back on. I know mine had about 12,500 on her when I did my front and rear tire change myself. I did clean the inside of both rims and they where dirty with rubber residue that had to be cleaned off with a light wire bristle brush for cleaning copper line before soldering. Worked great with a little 220 sand paper. I then wiped the inside down with a little light oil on a rag. Hope you find the problem and please let us know. James
2. Looked pretty good to me Snaggle.
3. May all who new SGT Walker and his family be comforted in these trying times. Another soldier's family in our prayers. Thank you Sgt Walker for what you have sacrificed for our country. God bless your wife, family and friends, may you forever rest in peace. James
4. OK, thank you Wes. I was thinking air filter and not oil filter. Thanks, James
5. OK, sorry Larry, I should have figured that one out. I know the K&N air filters are a lot more than that. Just did not ring the oil filter bell for me. I always thought of K&N as air filter only. James
6. I am offering them to everyone here at a lower price. I just do not want to do it until later tonight after everyone has signed off. That way I may not interfere with anyone's conversation/post. I changed the Black Triple flag to $85.00. I will finish the rest later tonight and will be changed by tomorrow morning, Monday (5 -14 ) if no problems come up. http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showcat.php?cat=34 1- Triple Flag - Gloss Black 4- Double Flag - Two Grey Primer & Two Gloss Black * I made more of these because I figured people would like these the most. 1- Single Flag - Gloss Black If you want to pay by check, just send me a message. James
7. THANKFUL FOR EVERY MOTHER, Happy Moms Day .... James
8. I agree with everyone else. We are fortunate to be surrounded by such a great group of good hearted people. I feel the same. If I really needed help, I could make a few phone calls and people would come. Thanks to everyone for all your help to me also on the site here. GLAD YOU GOT HER GOING. James

10. Thanks SilvrT, if you do not mind checking, does the Rivco have a 1 1/4" receiver/stinger for sure ? Also if you know, does the Bushtec have a 1 1/4" receiver/stinger ? All the sites I have visited do not give the stinger/receiver size. I am making a list of hitches for my use and also to give everyone else a heads up on them on my site. My self I would not like the flat service ball only type hitches, I would rather have a removable stinger/receiver. I know there is one that has a flat service mount with a removable receiver, and has two rods that attach, but I like the Reese type hitch. Tried and true for towing for many many many years. James
11. Thanks Joe, I have heard that a Hitch Doctor hitch has a special size of 1 1/8 " OD receiver/stinger. So far I think that the Hitch Doc is the only hitch that is the 1 1/8" size. So my Stinger Flag Mount should work on the Kuryakyn and most all others. I can build them for the others (Hitch Doctor), but only by request. Thanks again for your help Joe. I am trying to get a working list of hitches. James
12. Happy Moms Day to all those Mothers out there. We love you all, thank you. Fuzzy
13. Congrats Tom to you both. Fuzzy
14. As long as it is not alive, you should be fine. Thanks for the neat ideas, I mean somebody gotta do it, glad it is you Snaggle. I do the same thing at Wally World at the bicycle rack of neat little gizmos for bicycles. Mater a fact, I have one of the little holster things on my motorcycle for a beverage holder. Bottled water works fine in it. I do not even have to look at it to get the bottle back in the holster. Strapped to my rear right saddle bag guard. The little straps that come on it work fine. Set the cruise and drink on the go. I also have a suction cup notepad that has a clip to carry some written mapping for a trip in unfamiliar places to the GPS. Sometimes that happens. I have it suctioned to the inside of the windshield sometimes. Fuzzy Fuzzy
15. OK, I give. Might sound stupid, but are you all talking a K&N air filter and Purolator oil filter for our bikes ? If so, that is way cheap, type-o error maybe. :confused24: Fuzzy
16. Thanks ragtop. That is what I am after, trying to educate myself a little more on the different type hitches out there. Fuzzy
17. And another good Snaggle of an idea. :LIME:
18. Well that helps Jay, thank you. I thought all the hitches where at least 1 1/4" square stock. Did not realize that there was a hitch that accepted a 1 1/8" OD stinger. I would build someone one to that spec if they where interested, but it would have to be a request by message or e-mail. I can get the stock to build them. I will do some more research on that Jay, thanks. All my current stock is 1 1/4" OD X 1/8" thick wall square stock. I just now returned from the local Caudills Steel, and put the stock in the garage. Fuzzy
19. Thanks Joe, so sounds like I need to put a few pin holes in the vertical stinger attachment to accommodate different hitches. So sounds like I also need one at an 1 inch and at 2 1/2 inches. Thanks for your help Joe. Do you know what brand hitch you have ? Fuzzy
20. The reason for my thread here is to offer a vertical type hitch in my Stinger Flag Pole Mounts that I build. I have changed the design a little and have not posted any new design pictures up yet. I will as soon as I can get everything done and get the process started. I was ask by some for a vertical type mount. So I have some built and will post the others up later. I will offer them in a single flag, double flag, and a triple flag. I will call them the Vertical Stinger Flag Pole Mount. I will still offer the others as well, but all will have a different design and better look I believe. But that will be for you all to decide. Here is what I have so far below in a double flag. I have others built, but have not had time to get all finished and painted yet. I will be adding these and my design to the Members Vendors area and deleting those that are there now. So please check them out. I will let everyone know when I get them done. The pictures are in my post above, thank you for your help. Fuzzy
21. Sorry, I did not make it clearer in my thread of exactly what I wanted. I was in a rush to get out the door to get to the College Graduation early so as to get a good seat. My daughter graduated from Morehead State University today. I am very proud of her. The reason for my thread here is to offer a vertical type hitch in my Stinger Flag Pole Mounts that I build. 22. http://wingstuff.com/products/34009-vertical-trailer-hitch-for-2012-gl1800?from_search=1 Just wondering how many folks have saw this type hitch before on any bike brand ? I posted similar in the Wing section and not very much information there. So I supposed there might be other bikes that use this type hitch to. Just wondering please. I know I had never saw this type before, until it was brought to my attention. Thank you for any and all opinions. There are some up close pictures on the left side of the web page. Fuzzy
23. Thanks Joe, I really appreciate the feed back. I was wondering just how many use this type, the vertical hitch. I am in the process, and already have one made and sold to a gentleman whom saw the mounts I build a the site that I set up. I have changed the design and decided to make some for the Goldwing also. I have not yet even got any pictures posted and information changed yet. But I am going to make some of these to accommodate the vertical type hitch for the Goldwings. I am shipping his out tomorrow. I used the site link and pictures from the link, plus some information from the man that bought one. I am putting the mounting pin for the stinger on a 5 1/2 " long piece of square tubing and drilling the 1/2" pin hole at 2 1/2" above the bracing. That is what I really need to know, will this measurement for the pin hole work in your mount and allow about a 1/2" or so of play ? In other words, the pin hole is 2 1/2" above any material and in line and vertical at a 90 degree angle. Thanks again Joe for your response. Fuzzy
24. Use 1/8 " steel instead Snagggle. Go with a narrower strap than the aluminum, per-say 1" rather than 2" wide. Fuzzy
25. Check with Carbon One, I am sure he can help you out. I think he makes adapters for the jacks as well. I have read that people use 2X4s to put under their bikes to allow the jack to lift the frame of the bike. My bike jack has an adapter that works for many type bikes. It has rotating arms and V shape fingers for the frame to sit in. I found it for around 100 bucks or maybe 150, plus about 20 dollars shipping. It is black and chrome. My bike has been sitting on it now for two weeks. It has safety locks that go into place as you jack up the bike. It also has wheel locks and came with two straps and places on the jack for the straps to attach. Fuzzy
