I would box it up and send through the post office. Go to the local Dollar Store and get youself a box after you measure it. Most stores recycle the boxes, but if you ask they will give you one.The United States Postal Service rates are good and they take care of your stuff. You can track it on line and it will cost you around $20 - $25 dollars or so to ship just regular mail. Six to Ten/Fourteen days in transit, depending on where. Fuzzy

http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=3919&title=rsv26amp-3b-rstd-trailer-hitch&cat=24 These are the best for your money my friend. Very strong and bolt on in a few minutes. There are many options for this type hitch with the 1 1/4" receiver. And they won't cause you to have to go to the bank and borrow the money. Hidden hitch is not always a good way to go. Fuzzy

I understand Condor. I work for the Sate HWY Dept. and I get more than my share of those calls. I think that they think I will give because my job is with the State HWY. But I always talk to them and tell them ASAP that I work for the Sate and do not make enough money to donate to anything like that. Other donations maybe, but not that. Get off your rear and earn it just like the rest of us, I say. Politics and opportunists is not my good side. I vote yes, but I do not push it and do not like to be pushed with the donation calls. Those that are living like this are like some of the perfectly healthy people stealing from our government. I always get aggravated when talking about this. I guess that is why I told the story about the phone call and cruise ship. I try to avoid the Rant On and keep it off. Although it really helps to vent on the site here sometimes. Thanks to all for listening. I understand the Grumpy part. They need to get back to the real murals of life and work out there living. Do not look for a free ride from me. It does not even work with my kids. They work it out and I am proud of them both. They can, and I also can look back and say with dignity, look what we have done. I am proud of those whom understand this part of life. Do not like the stuff about, well, I am not getting started on the drug abuse. But we all need to make our minds up and don't let someone or something keep us from our goals in life. Even Freedom is not Free, it is earned. And some gave all. Fuzzy

Well, no, it washed right off with a little soap and L-bow grease. But I am a Redneck Proud Hillbilly any how and that will never wash off. Wow, totally opposite time. I hope this finds you and yours well. Take Care and Ride Safe... Fuzzy

I used to work for Bass Master Boats and then Bass Hawk Boat Manufacturing. The boat hull design came from a local here and we built these boats right here in Olive Hill KY for many years. It was said that Ranger took their hull pattern from our boats, and I partly believe it. These boats would turn without sliding at 70 mph and absolutely throw you out of the boat if you where not buckled in. They road like a luxury car in rough water to. I know because I took one of the first rides on our new 19 footer back in the late 80s at Cave Run Lake here in Kentucky. I also used to own one. We used marine grade plywood in the construction of all the bass boats. The floor and the transom and even the deck of the fiberglass boats all had wood in them. The marine grade and then the wood pine stringers for the floor that the plywood attached to where 1" X 12" pine. I helped design all the floors in the new model boats and cut every piece of wood that went into the boat. I had patterns that I made for about six different designs of boats. I also attached the live-wells on the boats deck by hand. The pine stringers where put in the boat hull and then sprayed with resin and a very light layer of chop. Then the marine grade 1/2 " plywood over that after the resin and light shop begin to set on the stringers. The marine grade plywood was then shot with the resin and chop on the down side and laid on the stringers. Then after the plywood was nailed in place, it was shot with resin and a light layer of resin and chop on top. The transom was 4-6 layers of marine grade plywood with resin and chop in between each layer and sandwiched and placed in the back of the boat. Then a set of large vises where used to clamp and squeeze it all together to dry overnight. We had very few boat floors that had to be replaced after many years of service. Some of which where caused because holes where drilled for the different connections and floor drains in the boat and where not properly sealed at the cuts/drilled holes after wards. "Marine Grade Plywood" it has a sealer in it from the manufacturer. Cover all wood with resin and chop on the bottom. Roll it in with the correct tools (rollers) and no air bubbles or hot spots in the fiberglass. Clean up with acetone. Fuzzy

I am on the no call list and still get a few. The last one that kept coming was that I won a cruise trip, so I started a long conversation and acted plum stupid. I told my wife whiles on the phone with the lady this; " Honey we have won one of them there cruise boat trips. They have a toilet on there and everything, You did say they had a toilet didn't you Mam, and you do know what a toilet is don't you, I ask." That was the end of the phone calls from them and the lady was laughing her head off as I hung up. James

They (Avon) fixed that problem Monty. I called about 4 years ago and spoke to them about that. They gave me a date that they had recalls on and I also got it from V7Goose I think. I have wore out two sets and no problems with cracks in the sidewalls at all. The gentleman was really nice about it and assured me if I had any problems to just give them a call and they make it right. He assured me that the problem had been fixed though. I think I even posted here about my phone call and who I spoke with. James

Hi Annie. Glad to see the post about the Patriots, thank you. I was thinking about the Australian handkerchief that you gave me at Don's MD about a year or maybe two ago. I like it and used it that day when it was so hot. I placed in the melted ice water in my cooler and wranged it out and put it around my neck, man it was nice and cool on the ride home. But when I went to wash up and wash my face, I had became a pure RED NECK. The red in the new handkerchief had came out and died my skin red around my neck. It was funny and it really kept me cool that day and gave me a laugh when I got home. PS: Oh ya Annie, what time is now there ? 1:55 AM here . James (Fuzzy)

I love the Avon Venoms myself. I run both on the rear and also front, I suspect you are to. Not good to mix brands. Are you sure your back tire is OK ? Mine felt squirrelly and I checked the rear I thought. Checked air pressure, then checked again with help and found out that my rear was worn to the threads in two places. The two places where from twice that I had to lock up the bike because someone pulled out in front of me. Replaced both the front and rear, problem solved. James

Thanks PGunn.....This would be good in the general tech section on the site. James

The Metzlers are the brand with the problem. I have read about this before. I love the Avons myself and got 12,500 out of the last set. I am a guy who likes to hear the pipes sometimes to, meaning I probably leave a little rubber on the road when moving from a stop sometimes. Notice that Carl highlighted/or made bold, the Metzlers and Piece Missing. Just as Carl, I thought everyone knew about this. James
