    OK does anybody know innere diameter for RSV or maybe somebody have old rotor in garage and take measurments?

    OK lets order floating one. One more question. What is inner diameter for RSV stock disk, that's what realy make diference between those two disks. Jon, If you still have old disk try to find'em, and take measurments ( Make sure is metric ) as squeeze say bolt patern, internal and external diameter DF 498 W - Int @ 132mm, Ext @ 320mm DF 463 W - Int @ 115mm, Ext @ 320mm And I'm talking about 2nd gen RSV

    I'ts time to order new rear break disk, last year on the way from Minesota's PiP rear inner pad is broke and touch metal to metal, for quick fix i'm replace pads only, but rotor has some damage and inner pad has almost twice wear then outer one. Found good performance break dealer at Chicago motorcycle Show, and they ask me is it my rear disk floating or nonfloating:confused24: I have no idea what they asking me for. This two are listed For Royal Star Venture DF 463 W, and DF 498 W Please can you help me to figure out wich one is right disk for rear brake Thaks.

    In lite rain my Tour Master Pivot Jacket and Venture pants does a job. For Heavy rain my vote go to Froggs Toggs tested last year on the way back from Minesota Pork in the Pines. 8 ++ Hours riding in hammering rain, and that gismo keep me dry all the way to Chicago. Only downside is pants. you have to take off boots to put a pants on, no biggie, as long they keep me dry.

    My Vote going to Widder too. Pack Lite in sadlebag, Draw less Power( Big Plus For Venture charging system). Cost Less, and heat transfer is way better then Gerbing's. Have Gerbings Union Ridge Pants and Jacket, and not a happie camper. Somehow there is not enough heat and my knees are becoming unconfortable cold in mid 30*s with full blast of heat. Widders Down,s are connectors , but no biggie, And BIG WARNINGwhen odering gloves make sure to call widder for right fitt. My regular glove size is XL, and widder size is midium???

    My dealer is changing oil for me right now, I have service contract until 20,000 miles, thats mean one more oil change , after that I'll switch to rotella or mobile 1 sintetic. Any way i'm changing oil religiosly after 2000 miles,. between dealer oil changes i use Harley's 20-50 V twins on summer and mobile 1 5-30 in winter, so far no problems.

    Yo Lutz. Some of motorcycle owners use Shell rotella diesel engine oil, For their motorcycles. I know Guy from My motorcycle club, he is using nothing but rotella oil for last 20 years in his motorcycles, and he made some gooood milage.He mostly owned Harley's and they are same as diesel trucks, burn or lick oil, so no need to change oil so often, every week just add quarter (1L)

    thats sounds just right for empty battery to be recharged Up to 24Hours. One more suggestion, disconect charger for couple hours, and then reconnect batery tender. Make sure your battery tender is designed to be hooked up at all time, Othervice you can overcharge and smoke battery.

    What is real diference between Caliber and Venture Pants? Did you have chance to take look on Caliber and Venture pants before ordering. Diference in price is about $40.00, and they looks same.

    Al, suggestion for clearview windsheald. go with goldwing center vent installed ,make huge difference in summer, and is about $40 extra.

    Hi Kiki And Welcome , I Have one question for you. Does Europian Model Royal Star Venture Have Cigaret pover lighter plug under right hand fairing. If does that is answer. For my iPod, radar detector and GPS that is only power source I Use.     This is great discusion, I'll be happy to upgrade my charging system. who ever upgrade first let us know. We are spending $$$$ on chrome and accessories, this upgrade will be mast on my list.

    I Dont Have any passing lights, and replace turn signals , and breake lights with LED's, I'm Able to Hook up 2 full Widder sets of heated clothing each draw about 100W, and have not discharge system. Royal Ster Dont have great charging system Max output is about 400 W. Not quite enough for all gadgets, I Like to see one of those hi output alternators like available for V-Stars

    Religiosly change oil every 2K and filter every 2nd oil change. using Yamalube 10-30 or 20-40 depend of season.

    I Did have Same isue with my 06, Drove to dealer and they replace ruber bushings and re tide. Your 04' is steel under warranty let'em do it work.
