  1. On The way Back From Vogel I was Following Eddie and he was in speed limits all the time... I Was start thinking my gas gauge is go bad... keep on three bars after 190 miles and signal Eddie to pull over for Gas.... As Never Before 4.1 Gal out of 195 Mil :cool10: Of Corse Thats not hapend after I'm split from Eddie. I was in 10 Miles Over Speed Limit and my gas milage is go back to normal ... upper 30mil's / Gal

    Well Alan Get Rid of those 1st, And 2nd ~ 1st Gen an d Buy yourself 2nd Gen you can ride all year around. May have some warranty left too so you dont have to worry about repair stuff.

  4. Hey Mean Dog. You can't just transfer your MP3 folder in to IPod Foldrt and exept music to play. iPod is called mp3 Player...but realy is not.. Its i-Pod Apple is using their own format called AAC. wich is supperior to MP3 Files in many ways..... Like Why is 2nd gen Better then 1st gen... Cuz is newer, and better :rotf: ... So to Make story short... What you have to do ...... Transfer MP3 files in to i-Tunes first and under " Advenced " Tab, Is pull down manu... which is asking you to convert selection in to AAC format Thats what you have to do to hear your MP3 WINDZCHRASH files to i Pod. Is that simple or what :080402gudl_prv: Sorry Mean Dog... But I'm 100 % MAC ( Apple ) Guy... even if I'm forced to use PC @ My work.   6. i'm Agree with you. Marine speakers are way to go. There are designed to resist moisture and hard vibration. if i have to replace my someday i'll go vith marine grade ones.

  8. I have Custom Dinamic one. Easy enough to install. just T -tap 3 wires and job is done. Light sensor is give me a trouble once, didnt want to turn on, and I'm fix'em Cuting off sensor and splice two wires together. Right now works any time i want. Mount swith on left hand side under firing on location easy to rich while driving. Definitly picking up attention on intersections. I LOVE'EM.

  11. Hi Dan, And Welcome to VentureRider Forum. Probably to have best bike you have to combine all bikes listed above.:rotf:. Venture is most comfortable bike on market today with stock seat. And thats is what make this bike best. Buletproof powertrain and lot of pony's for long haul. Guys from this site will recomand you couple thinks to improve low speed handling and that is Avon Venom Tires, and DimondR Leveling links. XL Clearview Windshield with a vent will improve wind protection specialy to passanger. :080402gudl_prv:

  16. I Use to have Autocom Headset and never found stuf to interconnect Autocom And 5 Pin Venture set.   17. Hey Buddy that was working for front turn signal bulb. Cut out lower nipple of 1157, and slide in to socket. Holding in to place like original. Still working on headlight bulb.:cool10:

Orange turn signal bulb definitly have different path then 1157. there is 3 little niples on the side for fitting in to, and aranged in 120 degre pathern. 1157 has only two and aranged in 180 degre
  19. Last Night was traying to replace headlight bulb. there is no way to replace light bulb without spliting fairing. if is any other way please I NEED HELP !! As well I'm figure out front turn signal bulb is not standard dual 1157 bulb. Don't know is that on 06 and up models or that is standard on all Ventures:detective:

  21. I took ERC class last year, and i have same tough. At bigining was thinking what a waste of money... but after all they teach me exacly how much i dont know about safety riding. Worth every single peny. Strongly recomanded for everybody.
  22. Tom I know some truckers have specialy designed CB power linear amplifiers, and they have max output of 100W. FCC regulation say no more then 4W. . you may take look at diferent CB antenas ( Firestick ) or simular, or just tune existing one with SWR meter.
  23. Congrats on new Ride , and welcome to Site. As far i know thert is chriping noice coming out of gear box, but that kind of noice is not normal. Engine is not broken in and that may be a sirios sing. Go back to dealer and have 1st service done (600 mil.). They may miss to torque some bolts during assembly or lack of grees in final shaft drive. Good Luck.
