    AMSOIL Full Syntetic 10-40 and Amsoil Anti drain back 103 MC Oil Filter. If you guys go on Amsoil Web Site, there is link for prefered coustomers. Pay $10 for membership and you are ready to go. Amsoil MC oil is about $5.50 Per Qt. Shiping Cost may add litle bit to that price.

    Same thing with my Venture. Heard fan Kick on at gas station, and was working about 20 sec. Thats it.

    Hope you are order one with GW Vent installed. That help a bit in warm weather. What more ??? Keep leahering yor bike... I Think there is couple more spots left :080402gudl_prv: I Have XXL tinted "Clearview" installed on my bike year ago, and never switch to shorter one.

    Stay Away From Lowrance 350C. Hard Drive type and kick HD protection on bumpy roads. Curently Have Magellan 2200T GREAT UNIT Built in ram memory preloaded with street level map for US and Canada, Additional slot for MMC /SD Card, it works as MP3 Player or picture viewer. Weaterproof. Has built in light sensor and switch to night mode automaticly. Once is happend to freez, but was my fault... didnt read manual troughly....easy to reset. Start up time is 2sec...away faster then Lowrance iWay350C. And Price was right. $250.00

    Well Mini with 5700 ccm and 300 HP I Think is under powered. Definitly going faster then any 1st gen :rotf:, Even is faster then Charlie's Hotrod HDonda. Right now I Have some expirence how to Upgrade. And About Color.. Bike is going on custom Paint job, Of corse Heineken Color...:rotf::cool10: Took me only 3 Heiniken's for upgrade, That's Hot.

    Hey Were in Chicago ??? Wich Dealer. ... Hey We have to have Breakfast ride before yo take trip to KY. Couple Things has to be done on new bike., like locktite on grabrail screws,as well trunk rail. No big deal .. but have to be done. Let Me Know.

    Thats Nice Eck, but sun LA will be grounded to few southern states. I Don't think so he will ride trough northern states over winter. too much fresh air. My suggestion is to Yama Mama , and MiniM, make clue contest they will come up with something I'm sure, so everybody can play. Just my 2c

    Looking last night at stratoliner forum run into same tread " Dark Side" Installing car tires on stratoliners...??? Same think as here forum is split one side say it's safe , and some of strat owwners say they made 25,000 mils out of rear car tire, others are on safe side and want'tinstall anything but motorcycle tire.     Sounds Very simular as my problem @ Fort Collins. Running on 3 cilinders. When is ideling it's hard to say bike run on 3 cilinders, but luck of power, poping, and poor gas milage.... As other say Check out spark plugs or Coil. Wire is built in to coil , so you have to change whole thing to have good Spark. Check as well 2 wires attached to coil. Could be loose or coroded. :080402gudl_prv:

    Or, Just go to your dealer and let him know about whine. they have buliten about that. Diler will exchange your clutch basket with "I" Basket and wnin will be 70-90 % gone. That's what I did with my whine problem. It's Free covered under warranty. As Denden say, Motorcycle Full syntetic oil will help a bit, not right away, but after 800 miles you'll notice a diference. "Syntetic blend" doesent help a lot. Mobil 1, and Amsoil are strongly recomanded on this site. Other thing to fight noice is, at last 3/4, or full face helmet with speakers installed and some audio source ( XM radio or i-Pod). Good Luck

    You are realy close for rear tire. My Stock BrickStone is last only 6500mil's. Avons are foing between 9-12 k Miles on rear, and about 25 k on front one. Since your bike is 01 probably nis good idea to swap both of them at same time. as Squidley say you'll feel 300lb lighter bike after tire change. :080402gudl_prv:

    Does Motocom come with their own line of helmes speakers/ mike?. From My point of understanding your question is you have hard time to figure out how to wired helmet mic to unit... Is that rigt ? I Use to have simular ( British ) Version ot Autocom, and I wasnt able to use autocon helmet speakers / mic. with venture cb/ intercom system. You have to use Motocom Helmet Speakers/ Mic. with Motocom Master unit. I Gues you have CB hendheld unit connected to Motocom unit with Speakers/ mic cable. Check out Jacks... One is 3.5mm stereo, second is 2.5mm mono jack. Give us some more info wich CB ( Brand/ Model) you are trying to connect.

    Amsoil SMF103 is what I use on my bikes. Has superior filtration comparing to other brands, and anty-drain back valve. price is about $10.00 Yamaha sell two diferent filters for Venture , and Stratoliner. Amsoil' 103 fit rsv and Strat. If you are going to use Amsoil motorcycle synt oil, they recomand to change filter every oil change. you can go easly 5000mil between oil changes with synt oil's. Manufactures manul said up to 8000 mil's. If you sign as Amsoil prefered coustomer, 10 - 40 Motorcycle Sint, oil is about $6.00 per qtr. Cost about $20.00 a year, but with 2 bikes, and 2 cars I'm figure out that's big savings, for one of best oil's today on market. They Have even version of see foam, They call'em Power Foam.
