    Well, They do have some Noise / whine coming from engine in low speed ( Eh Yamaha), That's Normal but I didn't hear your Noise to give you best advice. As Far I know there was issue with new strat's front pulley bolt get loose, as well check Belt drive is it to loose. This is not common issue, but have couple reports of strange noise coming out of transmission. Hey John, What are you doing this sunday, we may hook up and have some lunch or Drink. There is some nice roads in St Charles Area. Let me know and maybe somebody else want to join us. Good Luck

    I Have Room booked @ Motel 8 Black Hills ,NC. If Somebody wants to share room and split cost. Let me know. Nite is only $54.00 or something. There is changes in plan, a bit. I Get vacation all week, and p probably will leave Chicago Sat August 2nd, and ride with Jerry ( Boo ) to Kentucky, and rest over night maybe hookup with some locals, and have beer. may go for ride round Smokies, and arrive in Black Hills NC Sunday Evening. Plan To Leave Sunday, 10th early Morning, and head north towards Chicago

    Yeah Avons make huge difference in low speed handling, like 300lb lighter bike.I was stupid and rode a bike til stock Brickstone is due to change. what a mistake. If I get now new venture that will be my first negotiation with dealer for upgrade. Good Luck

    Dave, Sorry to hear that. It's Hard to believe someone from our group done that, but I just want to tell you I Almost lost front fender chrome trim pice on way to Chicago, and I didn't notice until I get home. One screw was gone, and second one was half way out. I Don't wanna talk about Windshield.

    Oh Boy I Can't remember. I Think I Made Phone Call, and they know which size fit Venture. I Have done many 600 - 1100 miles a day rides, with no discomfort. My Wife didnt feel discomfort either, so if she is happy, I'm Happy too. Doesen't sounds right to set on wooden bids and feel comfortable, but on the end most profesional truckers, and cab drivers are using wooden bids for their seats. Good Luck.

    Don't Forget 5th gear is real overdrive. I Have no problem keeping with gold wing's even sport bikes. Use more 3rd and 4th gear. V4 act different then V twin.

    Jeff, I Wouldn't do that. Stay Where U R and wait to solve a problem. Better Be patient, Then sorry. Cords are wearing way faster then robber, Relax over Sunday and somebody will chime in.
