  3. Hang On with roady for a while, next year yama will realise new touring model and you'll be stuck with 2nd gen. anyway riding season is almost over , so until next spring you'll have enough time to think about. I Know exaclly how you feel. Best way is to keep both of them in garage, so if you go round town ride take Roady, if you leave for day trip take Venture.
  4. Is It Cheaper t buy Heated Clothing, Or build your own heated clothing. I Know last ear somebody has successfuly build his own, but I'm forget who and how.

Quick Fix works werry well. I Was Able to use CB, and didnt need to do anything with SWR Good Luck
  8. I Have Autocom Unit mounted on my Stratoliner. Best Clearity and sound quality ever. Could be connected with i-Pod, cell Phone, and CB. My Setup is for solo rider ( One headset ) Have Active noice canceling mic, and speakers are supperior quality comparing to J&M. Only Downside is Autocom has 7 pin headset connection (Extra 2 pins for noice canceling) so thats mean you have to buy autocom headset only when is time to replace one. Anyway I Can sell you my if you wish, just send me PM.
  9. Good For you Old Viking. Glad you have that promotion. I Love to Hear good news. Beer for everyone:group cheers:
  10. Just wondering Eck, maybe amount of ride-on is not enough for our fat azz tires. They recommend that amount in bottle for all bikes tires, but size of tires are different. I don't know what was status in my tire cuz I'm bring in to shop last time was due to change my rear tire. That's good point. Most of the time tire have contact with pavement no more then 1" wide. Usually tire is repairable only if you have puncture in center but not in to side walls. Wondering if Full car tire Bottle of ride On will make difference in inner coverage. Hmmm Maybe thats reason why they sell 3 bottle in package. http://www.ride-on.com/prod_mot.asp
  11. Brad I Usualy keep Battery on bike all winter long. time to time i use battery tender just to keep battery fully charged. And if is sunny and no IceI'm out riding. heated clothing does a job.
  12. DF 488 Fit: XVZ 1200 T,VENTURE ROYALE 1984 - 1987 Rear Disc DF488 I Have Installed one of Galfer Wave rear disc on my venture, Too early to see difference and durability, Compare to OEM Yama Stuff. One thing I'm sure Galfer Wave rotors cost less then Yama Rotor and quality of craftsmanship is faaaar a part in Galfer's favor. Gal's and Guy's from CycleBrakes.com are Very please to work with. Pats are corect and arriving on time. Only downside is if order is less than $200 they Charge $15 for shipping. That's a reason to back me off ordering parts from them last time i need rear pads. Hope they will discount shipping cost with our group as well.
  13. That's Only Thing I Use in my bikes over winter. Dont forget to run engine once a week just to keep blood running.
  14. I wood reply at last is not Certified Check from bank of Nigeria.
  15. :rotf::rotf: This is good one Eddie that's way too low.:rotf:
  16. I'm Not Progremer either, but is it easier to buy one of those power commander and modify data to your needs. I Guess bike is already pre set with all those sensors you are talking about? It's easier to modify something than build from strech up. Maybe is some forum with C++ Geeks on the web, who are willing to share brain power with you. Google baby. Anyway Good Luck.
  17. Brian You have my skype message. I Dont have skype Ph # but have Mac book Pro with built in camera and mic.
  18. hey hey Watchya. Hmmm Sorry Jeff but .... Go Cubs
  19. It's all depend on your riding style, and I'm 100% agree with above posters about brand of pads. Go with Galfer or EBC HH There are waaaay better than Yama's stock pads Galfer Catalog http://www.cyclebrakes.com/catalog.pdf Page 32 And EBC Catalog http://www.ebcbrakes.com/Assets/USA%2008%20MC%20cat.pdf Page 32 And could be ordered from: http://cyclebrakes.com/index.html Good Luck
  20. Glad you have a good time my friend. That's some nice overlooks, ...Did you step by to see Megan In Lyons
  21. As Ride on Web site stated, it works on way to deposit more or les ride on inside tire, cuz liquid will spread evenly when tire rotate I's simple Hydrodinamic. "Ride-On TPS is designed to hydrodynamically balance " works same as laundry washers on hi speed spin. Water will go away from center and "stick" on outer walls of drum
  22. I Get Spoiled with My XXL Clearview Shield and vent, First Shield Flu over our heads, due to my negligence, and a week later I'm place order for new one. Vent Does a Job for me, and If Somebody wants more air, Buy Ceiling Fan.
  23. This one is even better, done by those dudes from OCC... Don't be stupid and stuff.. http://www.cat.com/cda/layout?m=73180&x=7
  24. For. Wobble side check spoke wires. As far I know 650 has spoke wheels and spokes get loose, that was reason for my friend 650 to wobble. Good luck
