Yeah That Special thanks to Kloehn Family, As every year before Ann, Gary and Chris are wide open doors of their home to host this great event. As well Black Owl to fixing breakfast for all hungry bikers. Will thank you for great smokes as well. This year everithig was just perfect, weather, pig, beer, roads,more pig, more beer.... and Red1:rotf::rotf: well hopefuly you guys gonna keep secret why my back hurt.... thanks to Whiskey... I mean Beer. One of the best VR events this year.... period.

Be aware of 2009 RK muffler, dont know where is year break, but new RK have catalytic mufflers If not drilled out can clog. somebody will chime in, with better explanation. Another question is Why you are using AMSOIL diesel engine oil, Amsoil made very good motorcycle specific oil. Good Luck

Well this time I'm book vacation. and if doesen rain cat's and dogs, I'll be there. Think to get little ride round, and visit Door County, WI, and upper Wi heading to Duluth, and get that famous ride MN61 along coast of Lake Superior. Crusing west trough Forest Highway 7 ( MN 1), and head west, to Gary's. Russ hope you gonna get your tent ready by time I arive

Gary, it all depeng. if is gasket, then some liquid gaskets can cure leak, but if is housing crack, than i gues you gonna need new pump. Dont know where is pump on 1st gen's but somebody will chime in. Good Luck.

Randy, It's all come to personal choice. just trying to help PIP event ( http://www.porkinthepines.com/ ). I ride myself car tire on Stratoliner, and after break in period I couldn't be happier. Cost 1/2 price of motorcycle tire, and last 3 times longer. can I ask for more? Guys BFG car tire is for 2nd gen RSV or RSTD bikes. I'm paid for tire over $70 Make offer to Black Owl ( Russ ) and somebody can be new owner for way less.

Another vote for Amsoil 10-40 all year round. Amsoil oil filter is one of the best choice for filtration as well has built in anti draw back valve. Good Luck -
Check out ground connections as well. Dont know about 1st gens either, but sounds like loose connection at that wire dropping to 5V under load. Kill Switch, Kick stand switch, and ignition switch can give you a lot of trouble dropping a voltage. Trace wire and check where is ending. start from there. Good Luck.
