Thank you for the info it was very intresting. i did get intouch with a garagr over here and they said check the wire on the bottom of the coil first to see if they are on corectly and not corroded. I don't no if i may have pulled one off when i fitted the other coil. Peter (Wide Birth) P.S i will let you know if i have any luck.

Hi can anyone help me i have a 2008 royal star dour deluxe and about last may i had a ignition coil go on my bike rear off side, at christmas i had the rear near side go on my bike to, last week i just got round to replaceing that one to now the other one has stop working again is it the coil that are at fault or dose anyone no of any other reson way they keep going wrong. peter (From England)

Hi my name is peter (wide birth to my mates) i recently brough a royal star tour deluxe. I had a mate build and fix a tow bar on it to tow my trailer. I use to tow it on my 1500 inturder and i would like to know what the royal star is like for towing a trailer. pro and cons.
