  16. Thanks everyone. I knew I would find a wealth of info here, as always. Ya'll convinced me. I'm going to stick with my stock filters. Thanks again everyone. Glenn
  17. You might need to replace the little schrader (spelling) valve. I had one leaking and had to replace it. Glenn
  18. Human4m, Know how you feel about your pup. I have a Yorkie that my wife calls her daughter and grandkids call her Aunt Paris. She is part of the family and gets the due respect that any of the rest of us get around the house. As for your in-laws, it would be a tough call. If I had a dog big enough to do that, I would offer to pay at least half the vet bill if not all of it. But thats just me. Hope it works out for you and Murphy Long. Glenn
  19. Yes, It displays Kph as well as MPH. Glenn
  20. Thinking bout buying K&N filters for my 08 RSV and wondering if anyone could tell me if they really raise the HP or make it feel like its breathing better? I put one on a V-8 Dodge Dakota and could not tell any difference. Also, where would be a good place to buy them? Thought I would tap the vast knowledge pool that we have here for answers. Thanks, Glenn
  21. Got my bike back from the Yama Dealer yesterday. Replaced both rear ignition coils and it runs great. They synced the carbs, filled with gas and didn't charge me a penny. I was worried about them, but they seemed to have done a great job and pitched in a little more for no charge to me. I believe I'll give them another shot if I need service again. Thanks, Glenn
  22. I bought a blem, tinted, with vent from ClearView. They said it had a couple of scratches in it at certain spots, but you have to look hard to see any at all. Very pleased with it. Glenn
  23. Very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Glenn
  24. Hi Scarylarry, My daughters won't ride either. Even my 19 year old that still lives at home. Says she's skeeered of it. However, my grandkids love to ride. They call it an "old person's bike," but will fight over who gets the first ride. Glenn
  25. I'll bet you your son knows my son, cause he's a flight examiner and instructor on the NC12 Liberty, currently working in Merridian, MS. My son is also leaving for Afghanistan in May or June. I'm sure their paths have crossed and they know each other. May God Bless your son and thank him from my family. Glenn
