    I would rather have a steady wind than a gust of wind. With a gust you never know its coming till it hits you. Ride safe.

    Its a brand new battery. When I am going down the road it reads 13 volts with no problem so I assume the battery is being charged. Just thought I would ask. Thanks for the replies.

    I got a question and I hope its not a stupid question. I have never had a bike with a voltmeter on it before so I dont know if this is normal or not. When i have the turn signal on is it normal for the volt meter to go up and down ever so slightly? How about when the brake light is on i notice the volt meter go down a volt or two. Is this normal for these bikes or does this indicate I have a stator about to go out?

    I have been in FW since 2000 and Nebraska before that. Actually I havent lived in Ohio since 1990 but I miss it. I wish I could go down to Osgood but I have a few things I have to take care of Saturday morning before I get to play. Was hoping to get out for a nice ride in the afternoon though.

    I miss living in eastern Ohio where we had some hills to ride on and around. Indiana is too flat for me.

    I have the same problem. When I go for a ride alone, I dont know whether to head north or south, east or west. Instead of going for long ride though I end up getting frustrated and head for the house.

    Ahh I dont think the wife will care as long as I take care of anything at the house before I go play.

    What weight oil do you use? 15w40? etc.

    I am about to change the oil in my 87 Venture Royale and am looking on some advice on the best oil to use. Also since the bike has 74k miles on it, is it good to run any oil treatments or something along those lines in it? Any advice would be appreciated.

    I was in the market to buy a bike last year around May. Went to look at a bike on a rainy may day. Anyways the guy showed me the bike in his garage that has one of those epoxy floors. Well I sat on the bike and kicked the kick stand up and next thing I know my foot slipped on the wet epoxy floor and down she went. Needless to say I was embarrased. I ended up buying the bike.

    I would have to let you lead, I never know where to ride. Alot of times I just cruise to Huntington, Columbia City and back since I live on the south west side of town.
