Check at AutoZone. I found one there less thatn $24 plus tax; light, but large ca 6"x8". and it runs off a cigg lighter recepticle, OR direct from the batter with a $4 adapter they have to offer. It comes with a nice gauge, PLUS a light. I use it very briefly for the back air shock, and it'll do my tires 10 or 20 lbs low in about 5 minutes. Noisy, but I like it. Little large perhaps for storage on a long run for some; not for me: Single! LOL JackZ

Others, please keep sending info if you can. Hearing the pros and cons does make a HUGE difference in my decision. I am having a prof mechanic in Cinncinnatti check the car out for ME. Plus I do trust my friend for accurate info. No decisions made yet, but I sure do enjoy and appreciate any of your comments. Thanks. JackZ

Same size engine and identical tranny. More weight in the Caddy though. I had a 1984 Lincoln Town car and I loved it. So far this is looking like a winner. Thanks for posting back! And have one of those great nights ... and a great ride tomorrow! Saddly, my scoot is still in the shop for hoses in the cooling system. Jackz

... of you in this time of loss. I am sure the Good Lord is rejoicing over him now and for all the eternal time to come. And all of us express our thanks to you for having a loved one who has served this country and us so well, including one or more of our Presidents. JackZ

4.6 V8 and only 78,000 miles, from a widow friend who just lost her husband. EBay looks like it should go for $4-6,000 in mint shape; this is the top of the line, too. I suspect it is in great shape. She wants $2,500-3,000, and we went to grad school together; trustworthy. I am just wondering if anyone here knows of the reliability of that particular car. Thanks for thinking and any posts. One of the greatest things that happens here is we can share VERY openly with each other. I understand your 'shadow guilt,' and you will be wise just to own it that way, as I am sure you are trying to do. Continued prayers for all, and especially, as requested, for your Dad in his pain, and as well, all those who are now caring for him. JackZ

$18.78 per month for full, max coverage and $250 deductable. BUT ... .... they do NOT have towing insurance? QUESTION ... is there a company that offers towing insurance only? JackZ

... do the heavy equipment work is enhanced. I have watched such highly skilled 'technicians' who equal our best surgeons (in a way) in overcoming the logic of gravity build millions of dollars in retirement home projects, and I have just stood in awe. NOW I understand 'awe.' Slautea! JackZ

... our riding. As I read the most recent posts I felt humbled before your spirits (all of you) in looking for the next bike even before the stitches are out. So few understand this great love we have of bonding with the world as we ride. It is a fulfillment of EVERY minute of living, .... and it's strength bring healing (at 71 don't I know, but not compared to your guys and gals in this accident). It is a healing I chose NEVER to live without, until there is a threshold of peace I WILL HAVE CROSSED, that says quietly, 'This is the time.' For now ... the Spirit says, ... Loud and clear ... NOT YET! And NOT NEVER! Yea go for the gold of this BONDING!~ JackZ

... sound, which was great, the sight of a left arm in a cast and the image of a DETERMINED BIKE RIDER! At 71 years young on two new knees from 2004, .... GO FOR THE GOLD. AND .... look over your shoulder! My 86 VR may be gaining on you! JackZ

... I don't know where we found a guy like you with such skills, .... but I sure do pray we NEVER loose you, ... and that I GET TO MEET YOU on a ride before I retire from scooting at age 101! JackZ Do what you gotta do to this site. Next to the Good Lord, it's in NEAR (don't get carried away with that) PERFECT hand. (Ask you wife if you need help in understanding that; LOL). I had a wonderful Bassett, Murphy. Re dog pound, wailing when my then to be wife chose his buddy next too him and he was left behind. Next day we went back for Murphy. Lots of stories. Yours suggest I should be glad he was NOT a pup. Give her time to season and she will love you till the last minute of her life. Happy living. And by the way, as a health care administrator in hospital administration and retirement home administration, ... I know all pets heal! So expect a long, looooong life together. JackZ

... for taking care of all of us in your large family. I agree on the $$ dues if needed; let all of us know if $ are needed. And ya, put that golf ball to see if you can loose it. That'll help your frustration! (Some). JackZ Yea Don!

Nice of your wife to type for you, and I'll bet she's doing a lot more than that for you. When you have healed up enough, please detail any info on the accident that may help make all of us better drivers. Saddly, it looks like a head on collision. Most important though ... all of you in your family and friends involved: Just keep healing to the next ride. Continued prayers for healing and of rejoicing for the healing that is now taking place. ... a T-shirt with a light full armed zip up jacket, when I can't wear my safety mesh padded jacket (see Pg 2), and I literally soak with water the T-shirt and my shorts, then zip up. As I go down the road I gradually unzip, and it works like AC. I keep lots of water on board, of course. Thought my 2-cents might help. JackZ

... you'll be passing your new skills on to the rest of the newby's (No offense to Brad Newby, member. LOL). Welcome to a great group! JackZ:thumbsup:

... and obviously, the Good Lord was with you on that ride; (He {or she} always has the time to look out for use 'Children.' Might consider buying the bike back (cheap I hope) for parts .... if you plan to replace with the same for a long, long time. Nah, ... start new; perhaps that is a better idea. As soon as you see the one you want your pains will be gone, but not the orders from your partner or the docs. Heal well, fast, and be safe. Continued prayers for all. JackZ

... keep the posts coming to show us the progress! For those who don't know, you might post a little of your history with the bike. Ride Em High (UP) cowboy! LOL JackZ
