............. a real congrats on those years of perfect harmony! It takes a skill to live together that long! Most don't make it, and I am glad you did! Enjoy many more studying up on the safety aspects:rotf: of living together so long! LOL Jack T

... to BOTH of you. I have an 86 (my second; from Squidley and Lonna), .... and it is serving me very well:bighug:. Only basic maint, and nothing serious:cool10:. Course I am still looking for my Queen Seat Rider (at my 73, lol); Non-refundable finders fee is available. Ride safe and enjoy being together. Jack T -
... thanksgiving for what your son is doing for our country, and for you both during this tme of his service. Jack T

... and look at all the nice (well most of them) greetings I got! Yep, I do look a little like the guy (the happy one, single and loooking) on the right, Phoneman. And BlackOwl, I'll keep looking for Condor to see if I can chase him to keep him young in HIS oldER age. And a big congrats to MEL ... at 75!!! Le't keep em all :rotf:trying to keep up with us Mel! LOL And again, thanks to all of the kind greetings. Didn't go back to the post till tonight! Made my day. What a gang we DO :bighug:have here! Jack Z aka, DePreach (for motorcycle weddings; LOL)

... to both of you; sure :bighug:why not! LOL. I pegged the right side of my 86 VR center stand for a second ONCE, and plan never to do that again when my wrench said that would be about the time the rear tire would lift off the pavement. So a little caution is perhaps in order. JackZ

... my helmet, and man do I remember that pavement :depressed:going by my visor! I wear full helmet all the time, and no one rides with me without a helmet. Just saying. Be safe all. I believe CO requires it for the PASSENGER but not the driver. THAT does NOT make sense to me! Jack T

... help from someone local to Ft Colllins, CO, on how to mount a flag holder on my 86 VR I am just NOT that mechanically inclined. However, ... I am retired and think this is one of the highest honors in riding. Thanks :fingers-crossed-emofor any referrals for help. Jack T

Liquid Fence. It keeps my dog from chewing on my shrubs and trees! They also have a brown powder, I think called 'Uncle Earl's Dried Blood ... it is dried blood and red peper by Ean Enterprises 425-413-0371. Good luck and happy Easter! Jack T:fingers-crossed-emo

Beautiful Colorado! Ya, I know, sometimes for short rides, .... and ALWAYS next to the foot hills in real winter; that's not the time to trust mother nature in the Rockies. Yesterday, 80 miles, day before, 100. Wed ca 150. Yep, I am:whistling: always scheeming for a ride, too (at :backinmyday:73 :cool10:this month). Rubber up, and ya all enjoy those delicious miles! Let me know if any of you are near CO, and I'll ride behind .... LOL. Jack T

Venture members are tough. You should be able to get some kind of city aid, perhaps volunteers, to get you to and from your PT; home care should help tremendously! I had both of mine replaced at the same time in 04, and I am doing great. As above from others, PT is the key. Keep fighting for all you can get, then see if your PT can prescribe a gym (ins might help or other forms) and get instructions on specific machines for strengthening the knee muscles. The muscles are the only part of your knee now that will hurt if not strengthened. Started riding again in 06 and am doing well with over 32,000 under my belt on the new knees. In fact riding :cool10:with my knees BACK is now more comfortable on my 86 VR than on the forward rest boards! Also, riding will even further strengthen you knees after PT. So if no staff infection, etc., you're on your way! Keep us all posted and fiddle me a PM or call if you're headin into CO! Prayers for stubbbbbbornness, good care, and great PT. Jack T
