Well, it looks like it was a busy night while I was away! So I get the bump....but apparently the only 2 rules are: 1. Post the pix 2. Ice cream at meets And your all cheap and easy!! My kinda people!!! Life can't get any easier than that!

that asks a lot of questions around here, but your all kind enough to usually clue me in so here's a couple more. 1. When people reply "bump" what does that mean? 2. Different threads state something like...."You know the rules" (especially about posting pix of meet and eats)...Is there really such a thing as rules on this web site and if so can somebody clue me in on what all the rules are. Just don't want to go breaking any! If you look close enough on my pix you'll see the word "gullible" tattooed on my forehead.

Hey Rosebud! Been trying to think of something all day, but nothings coming to mind except....maybe every evening ...every driver has to give their passenger a 1/2 hour foot massage! We (the women) could all line up our lawn chairs and watch every single one of them on bended knee catering to their spouse, signifcant other, etc. while we get to visit with each other!! Don't ya think they would all love to do that for us? We could even keep the single riders busy by making them feed us bon bon's!!

Hope to hit Devils Lake State Park. We took our sons there about 10 yrs ago and I couldn't belive how pretty it was. Also hope to run through Wildcat Mt State Park. It's been a few years since we've seen that.

We spent a week in Door County a couple of years ago. Had a great time...but (you know the old saying...When in Rome...) well, we decided we had to do a fish boil. I gotta tell you.....I'm not a fussy eater...but that was beyond my palette. It was fun to watch but the taste.....I can't even describe it. I get the heeby jeebies everytime I hear the word fish boil. Thank goodness for ice cold beer because it took a lot of it to wash down the taste!

Talked the hubby into taking off Thur-Sun to go over to Lake Michigan this week. Don't really have a plan. We plan on camping as it's so reasonable to camp in Wisconsin. Because of one drama after another, we haven't had much riding time and it will do us both to get away for a couple of days. Anyone know of any special roads to ride, places to stop? Any nice campground by the lake? Thanks

Was it any of you hooligans in our little town of Northwood Iowa Friday night? Spotted a blue 2nd gen Venture in front of the micro brewery we have in town. We were in a hurry to get to Cedar Rapids to my sister's wedding so we didn't have time to stop. We've never seen it before and a lot of people stop at the brewery on their way out to Diamond Jo casino on I-35.

WHY GOD MADE MOMS Answersgiven by 2nd grade school children to the following questions: Why did God make mothers? 1. She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is. 2. Mostly to clean the house 3. To help us out when we were getting born. How did God make mothers? 1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us. 2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring. 3. God made my Mom just the same like he made me. He just used bigger parts. What ingredients are mothers made of ? 1. God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean. 2. They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string, I think. Why did God give you your mother and not some other mom? 1. We're related. 2. God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's moms like me. What kind of little girl was your mom? 1. My Mom has always been my mom and none of that other stuff. 2. I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy. 3. They say she used to be nice. What did mom need to know about dad before she married him? 1. His last name. 2. She had to know his background. Like is he a crook? Does he get drunk on beer? 3. Does he make at least $800 a year? Did he say NO to drugs and YES to chores? Why did your mom marry your dad? 1. My dad makes the best spaghetti in the world. And my Mom eats a lot. 2. She got too old to do anything else with him. 3. My grandma says that Mom didn't have her thinking cap on. Who's the boss at your house? 1. Mom doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball. 2. Mom. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed. 3. I guess Mom is, but only because she has a lot more to do than dad. What's the difference between moms & dads? 1. Moms work at work and work at home and dads just go to work at work. 2. Moms know how to talk to teachers without scaring them. 3. Dads are taller & stronger, but moms have all the real power 'cause that's who you got to ask if you want to sleep over at your friend's. 4. Moms have magic, they make you feel better without medicine. What does your mom do in her spare time? 1. Mothers don't do spare time. 2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long. What would it take to make your mom perfect? 1.. On the inside she's already perfect. Outside, I think some kind of plastic surgery. 2. Diet. You know, her hair. I'd diet, maybe blue. If you could change one thing about your mom, what would it be? 1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that. 2. I'd make my mom smarter. Then she would know it was my sister who did it and not me. 3 I would like for her to get rid of those invisible eyes on the back of her head. It's scary isn't it? When we hit the deer this summer it happened so fast, but it seemed like it was in slow motion. Glad to hear only minor bumps and bruises!

Thanks for the pix!! It looks like something he could do. Appreciate the help. As far as the Virago Tech site...I've been jumping on there a few times, tried to sign up but haven't had much luck. I emailed them yesterday to see what's taking so long to become registered but haven't heard anything back. Maybe it's just going to take time for me to get used to the site. Thanks again for the help!

I'm sure it's the windsheild that's causing it. Does anyone have any pix of fabricated wind deflectors that they've made? The hubby's pretty good about that kind of thing. Also, looking for engine guards to put highway pegs on the Virago. Not much on ebay, except brand new ones and I don't want to spend that kind of money. I was hoping to find a used one. If anyone ever hears of any, would they let me know? Thanks

We stayed with our sons out here about a month ago. Although it says campground, they have cabins that are reasonably priced and built in 2006. It is located 10 miles south of Deadwood and the owners are wonderful. The owners are very nice!www.mystichillscampground.
