Hey Bryan, My son and his fiance from Cedar Falls were there that day on a St Judes bike ride. The ride started in Olwein, IA. Were you in that group? He said too, that it was so packed that they just got into see the bar area.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for your service. We appreciate every one of you!

I know there are a lot of us "midwesterners" that have gone to Briebacht's in Balltown north of Dubuque IA. It was the oldest bar in Iowa and overlooks the Mississippi River Valley. Last Christmas, it was burnt to the ground. They rebuilt and the business was bigger than ever. It is a favorite spot for bikers to go to. Anyway....just got a call from the hubby...jumped on the Dubuque newspaper...and it burnt to the ground this morning! We were just over there a few weeks ago, and the owner was so proud of the new place. If I remember right... the first fire was electrical or in the kitchen...but a second time in less than a year? I just hope it isn't some nut out there with a vendetta.

PEOPLE MAY NOT REMEMBER EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID, OR WHAT YOU SAID, BUT THEY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL. Thank you for that wonderful reminder!

15,231 and our bike was in the shop for the month of July. They call us Mr and Mrs Crazy around here (probably because we're riding in that 30 degree weather with our snow suits on!) Don't mind being crazy as long as we're having a good time!!

I can just picture you when you were a little boy down in your parents basement concocting all kinds of experiments!!

It's bad enough when you guys keep changing your avetars, let alone your name! Speaking of that....I noticed a while ago Pegscraper changed his avetar. I like it, but it's kept me guessing for a while what it is. Can someone clear up my foggy head and explain it?

Apparently it's too early in the morning for me.....that topic header had me wondering for a minute. Thought maybe we were starting a new s#x education class here to teach some old dogs new tricks! -
In the spring we start riding at 30 degrees. No heated gear...but I'm wearing long johns and ski pants.

It's telling me the page I'm looking for could not be found.

In Iowa the maximum amount is $5,000.00. Even though he might not collect anything, it still should show up as a judgement or lien so that it makes it impossible for him to sell his house down the road until it's paid. For example: If he should put his house up for sale... doesn't matter if it's tomorrow or 20 years from now, when the abstract is sent off to be continued or to the title company, the lien will show up, and no lender will allow the buyer to continue with the purchase until the judgement is satisfied. He's never going to be able to sell his house until he's paid it. I've seen a lot of people all of the sudden pay up with small claims, because they know it can really hurt them down the road. Good luck!

Can you file small claims against him? It usually costs about $30.00 with no need for an attorney. Once they get served....they usually pay up. If he doesn't pay up, you will most likely win. The good thing about small claims is that you will have a lien against any property (house, business, etc)he owns, and if he ever goes to sell it, he has to cough up the dough, otherewise it won't be a clear title.

We'll be thinking of you. Stay strong!

Got mine at Cabella's in the boat department. It works great. Cost: $12.00. It swivels so you can still get in your side bags.

Just to let you know I'm thinking of you and knowing it's not an easy time.
