    Same thing happened to us this weekend. Took it to the store to have it checked. Ended up with a new battery and good to go!

    Glad to hear your ok. 3 yrs ago I was driving our car.....all of the sudden a Canadian goose landed on my windshield. Sounded like a boulder fell into it. I've never seen so much shattered glass. Scared the daylights out of me. Birds are nothing to mess with and you've had your fair share. Someone was watching out for you!!

    I'll say it again....it's been one long winter..... Nice to see the crazy's wakin up after hibernation!! It's been pretty quiet around here the last couple of months. My jaw was dropping down to my lap there for a while! Good one beer!

    Thanks Freebird, but it's too far west for us. It's going to take us 3 days of riding just to get over and up to Banff. Appreciate the info though!

    SilvrT was just teasing as I had posted a different thread about camping. Gave up the camping idea as I'm not fond of bears.

    :rotfl::rotfl: I have looked at the Banff website....just didn't know if any members had a favorite place they had stayed. Hate to spend a $100.00 just to sleep but I'm not going to try and sleep in our little 2 man tent with my eyes wide open all night waiting to be some bears next meal. A girls gotta get her beauty sleep ya know!

    Hate to admit it, but I'm afraid of bears. Hubby and I are going to Glacier then up to Banff this summer. Is it safe to tent it up there or would it be better booking rooms somewhere? Also, is 2 days in Banff enough to see the sites?

Small restaraunt but big on pancakes!! I'm not a big breakfast person, but these are the best pancakes I've ever had!

The locker next door provides the meat and it is good!! Friendly atmosphere. Sports bar decor!

    Well, I'll probably catch he## for saying this, but it's one of the reason's the hubby and I head to Wisconsin every weekend. After a long day of riding, it's nice to clean up, head to a pub and enjoy being able to relax with a cool one and be able to enjoy a smoke or two. Minnesota banned it a couple years ago, and Iowa last July. That's the last time we've been in a pub, because it's easier to just be able to unwind on our screen porch. I just wish they would leave it up to the bar owners to decide. Just my

This place is located 2 doors away from my office and they have the best French Dip's you will ever have. Bloody Mary's are also great!! Very friendly owners. Diamond Jo Casino located at the interstate exit and also a Micro Brewery (Worth Brewing Co) a couple of doors down!! Humongus steaks!
