Thoughts and prayers go out to you

"For the last cold leg, we devised a method to keep his hands warm. Since he was at me brother's in Illinois, Curt ask for and received a pair of snow pant outgrown by the nephew. Curt cut the legs off the snow pants and ran them around the handlebar controls. He then put several chemical hand warmers down into the 'legs'. It was effectively a redneck set of Hippohands." Well, it never fails to amaze me how I learn something new here everyday. The hubby and I start riding in about 36 degree weather and even though I have a large windshield, my hands still get cold with just my riding gloves. I've never heard of "Hippohands" but I've got plenty of old snow pants!!!. Thanks for the idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Deb PS Glad to hear he's home safe and had a great trip!!!

My hair is only shoulder length. Fine and thin....which makes for snarls really easy when riding. I either use a scull cap or put it in a ponytail and where a baseball cap when I take off my helmet.

Do you have a little dog that rides on your scoot?

http://s.petco.com/Assets/product_images/7/743723117210C.jpgI hope this pix comes through...I found it online at Petco but is almost like the one my cousin purchased at a large flea market in Arizona. They ride bikes also, have a small dog and her husband puts it on the seat behind him with straps. They really like it.If the pix don't come through..pull up Petco's home page and put in luggage dog carrier. It gives all the specs.
