I'll bet she's making "cheesecake"!!!!!! Thanks for sharing!

I'm also vertically challenged but....my Virago is perfect for me. It never shakes, smooth ride, I can keep up easily with the pack, reeeeeeaaaaaaally comfortable pillow top seat, light enough for me to handle (turning around, backing up, etc)very reliable, I wouldn't trade it!! It's also got a slim gas tank so my shorter legs don't have to wrap around it. On the other hand, my sister in law has a 650 VStar that she loves. It just doesn't have enough power for me, but for short distances it's great and it's a great looking bike! Good luck on your search!

Name of Restaurant Country Gardens Lounge Street Address 100 W Sunbeam Blvd City Soldier's Grove State or Province WI Website (Optional) none Quality of Food Fantastic Quality of Service Fantastic Biker Friendly? (Parking, Trusted Location, Etc.) Yes Kind of Food? (Mexican, Chinese, etc.) American Alcohol Served? Yes Additional Comments The name is deceiving. (Sounds like a bed n breakfast to me) This great little pub has one of the best home made pizza's with a side sauce they serve. The best dish is an appetizer called Bourbon Tenders and they are to die for. Friendly managers and nice, clean , reasonably priced, place to stay!! This place is worth driving 3 hours to!

Well, I got a new one for you....last weekend in Soldiers Grove WI, we stayed at "Country Gardens Motel and Lounge". The managers are great, but the food!!!!!!!!!!!!! They serve home made pizza with a side bowl of chopped tomatoes, fresh garlic and olive oil to put on top!! It was delicious.....till somone told us to try the "Bourbon Tenders" under the appetizer section.....Gary was drooling. He can't stop talking about it! Great bar, great people, and ICE cold beer!! Hear the Rueben's are great also!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Well he must of missed my yakkin', because a simple apology would have done it. (Don't tell him that though!) I had such a great time, I'm thinkin' I should get mad more often!!
-
:rotfl::rotfl: Bugger of it is, 3 deer have jumped between Gary's bike and my bike this summer already, on different rides. Thinking the hubby should put on louder pipes!

Boomer.........who has become an expert at paying homage to the Missus.....even when she's wrong. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....he knew he was in the wrong on this one!! He's just finally figured out that a little road trip always makes me forget about being mad at him! Nothing like sunshine, a great bike, and beautiful scenery to clear the air!! All's well that ends well!

Nice pix!!! Looks like you had great weather and everyone had a good time!!

Got a little "irked" with the hubby at the begining of last week. Hadn't talked to him (which is darn near impossible for me)for 5 days cuz I was mad as a wet hen at him....so I'm leaving work Friday wondering how I'm going to make it through the weekend without spoutin off, when I get a call. "What are ya doin?" "Going home" "Can you have your bag packed in 10 min?" "Yes" "Alrighty then" he says..... We take off, 3 hours later end up at the Kickapoo area Friday, Sat and Sunday. Had the best time, beautiful riding, great back roads, great food, got to know some really fun people, ice cold beer and a fun place to stay. Had the time of our life!! Guess I'll stick with him another 30 years!

http://www.google.com/images?q=tbn:FlzTnP61I0kZPM::comps.fotosearch.com/comp/PLD/PLD421/girl-bee-mask_~px355071.jpgMay"bee" u need 1 of these!!! Sorry to hear of your catastophe!!! When the twins were about 3, they got into a hornets nest. They each had 25-30 bites on them. After all these years they still remember it! Glad to hear your ok. Gary's had them fly up his sleeve when we ride. The rider tends to think the drivers lost his mind they way the bike starts floppin around!

Glad to hear your ok. It was exactly a year ago this past weekend that we hit "our" deer. 10:00 am on our way to Anomamosa. Day or night those things pop out of no where!!

You helped me out. No way I ride in 50 & 60 degree weather without them!!! Call me a weenie but I get 9 months of feezing winter here and I hate the cold! Thanks for your help. Just means fewer pairs of clean socks I get to take!!

The hubby and I are heading to Glacier then up to Banff mid July. We are camping so space is limited on what we bring. I always wear my chaps anytime the weather is below 80 degrees F. If I can get by leaving them home, it would save a little room. Is the weather up there warm enough to get by without them? Thanks Deb

A big congat's to u!!!!! Loved reading about it. Hubby and I took that same route a couple years ago(only we took 5 days!)....when we met you in Fon du Lac!!! Gladstone has the best city campground that I've ever been to. $12.00 and your tent is right on Lake Michigan!! Can't wait to see the pix. Nice job, Jeff, you should be proud!
